There's never been a time in my life where I've wanted to join the military, because I never believed in what the country was fighting for due to the US being majorly responsible for most of the problems we deal with today overseas. But now I've become more patriotic than ever, I've wanted to fight to take back the country and stop regression. I've wanted a civil war for a while now, but that feeling only gets stronger. I don't think it will ever really happen, but I'm sure there will be plenty more passive shootings or bomb threats from both sides that perpetuate until either all the old boomer republicans die or enough people get tired of living in their "feels over reals" mentality that most trump supporters have.
You know there's a reason why large, rural, empty areas are mainly republican right? And why cities are mostly democrat? Education is more available to those in the cities, along with them also being in already blue states they tend to be full of people being taught from a young age what logic and reasoning is, and how you can critically think about your surroundings rather than being taught what hatred is by your uneducated, parents-used-to-say-nigger, religious parents. These are the people that are detrimental to progress, they're the ones that cause real issues within the country, purely on the basis that they want to "own the libs". There's never been a higher point in time where half a population of people wanted to hurt the other side just because they thought they were evil. Not even republicans, just trump supporters, legitimately wish they could kill a democrat. It's urged by our POTUS and it's been listened to on occasion now.
You used to be able to talk to some of them, but you can't anymore. You used to be able to demonstrate reason with them, using facts and statistics. But you can't anymore. There's nothing left of the republican party that doesn't scream "I don't listen, because I don't want to". That's why I'd rather fight.
