The funniest part is that food production is mostly exported not consumed nationally so rural farmers aren't even feeding the people in the cities. Rural citizens serve almost no purpose.

It's not interesting at all if you're paying attention. The urban/rural split is the real political divide in the USA. People move to the cities to 'be taken care of'. They move to the plains and woods to 'take care of' themselves.
