America is vastly different in many areas. I live in South Texas where my small city is 43% white, majority hispanic, some blacks, few asians, and fewer muslims. It's really not as bad as people make it out to be outside the cities. Another thing about the small town, people feel safe enough to leave their doors unlocked here, though that's been an issue recently in my field. I live in Houston, 30 yrs old. Pretty much everyone is somewhat nice to me, and assumes that I know more than I actually do. By not being somewhat tall (6ft), not fat, and white, girls fairly regularly give me attention (they are literal 56ers most of the time).
None of my coworkers are white. They all have their clicks, which seem to be divided down racial lines. It also feels like they are being fake around me all the time. They never talk about anything other than work or their family with me, and always are civil. They often speak their native language with each other, so it isn’t like I can really connect anyway.
My neighbors are all Asian and white, and are hardcore Democrats. I’ve tried talking about politics before, but if you try to even scratch the surface as to why they support the policies (open borders, free shit for non taxpayers, taxes), they say stuff like “OH are you some sort of trump supporter or something?!” Never any real arguments.

I imagine it depends on your location pretty heavily. The US is a large country with a near 400 million population. I live in the rural south and have never dealt with any of the shit you see posted in here, for the most part. I have, on a few occasions, seen an extreme left personality start shit, but but we're talking maybe twice since 2012, when I became cognizant of politics and political leanings.
This isn't even the perspective of someone isolated from race issues, either. Northerners talk shit about how racist the south is, but we actually live with blacks, they don't have anywhere near the population density we deal with. I've never been MUH SLAVERY'd, that seems to be a northern thing; I've also never had race play any sort of issue, except when something else instigated the conflict. Only BLM put a dip in our race relations down here, and the whole removing the flag from the courthouse in SC.

Aside from us all having to live together due to population density in the south, I think it helps that, culturally, some remnants of the rebel culture still sticks, which is why you'll see nigs waving the battle standard. They've been treated about the same as minorities here. We had a black guy as our class president, but a white guy was there for the first two years back in high school.
