Losing the house wasn’t a loss. It is the beginning of phase 2. Everyone seems to be questioning why Trump is seemingly endorsing Pelosi as house leader. Trump wants to be seen as more moderate in order to win 2020. Phase 1 was tax cuts, judges, and immigration. Phase 2 will be education reform, infrastructure, and weed legalization. Obviously keeping the house would have been ideal but Trump knows how to turn his disadvantages into advantages.
