Didn't have a religious upbringing so I never had anything to grow into in the first place. Like most people in my country, I feel gratitude for the cultural basis that Christianity brought to my country and acknowledge its historical importance, but feel no need to follow church doctrines like a faggot.

I'm 26 and I honestly don't know what to believe. I was raised catholic, and I think culturally, Christianity is a good thing. However, I don't think I can say with any certainty that I believe in or don't believe in god. I just don't have all the answers and I don't think I ever will, part of being human I guess.

I guess we have different definitions of atheism then. Atheism is a claim to belief, while agnosticism is a claim to knowledge. So I'm an atheist (don't believe) and agnostic (don't claim to know).

I'm still an atheist but I grew out of giving a shit what other people believe and thinking that religion was some horrible thing that was the root of all the world's problems. It's not that I believe God isn't real, it's simply that I haven't seen anything to compel me to believe he is real, and even if I did you'd still be worlds away from convincing me that your particular god and flavor of worshiping him was the one true way.

But religion is fine, and Christianity holds a special place in my heart seeing as I was raised under it. I like living in a predominantly Christian society and wouldn't want to live in one where any other religion was the primary.
