Cleveland OH. I live in downtown Detroit but I wouldn’t move to Cleveland for all the money in the world. At least Detroit is mostly empty, and most of the homeless people are squatting in blight houses. I went to Cleveland for a concert a year ago and had multiple encounters with aggressive homeless heroin addicts of every ethnicity. i live in illinois, and we do have the worst gun laws. you have to have a firearm owner id, which is unlike any other state in the union. We only got concealed carry when the supreme court forced illinois to do so. And as you said, Chicago still has the worst murder rate of any similar sized city in the nation. luckily i live in the suburbs
