I choose to be good but I am weak and sometimes i'm a piece of shit.

At a minimum, good is the unwillingness to do bad things.
If you want to be really good, then you have to seek to be righteous, clean, pure, and seeking to imprison / eliminate those who want to do bad such as hurting & stealing from others.

what is stealing from others? is taxation stealing from others? if someone votes for a socialist, and the socialist becomes empowered by the state, and steals from others by the threat and action of violence, is that bad? evil?

The problem is that people don't know how to define good and evil so posts like this just seem like empty platitudes.

Chaos and Order are good. Its when they are brought out of balance by corruption that a side may become evil.

Ultimately, all of our things were taken from the earth.
People, without consulting any other authority, have taken material from the earth (and plants / animals), refined it, and sold products with it. Is that stealing from nature?

But, within human society, stealing is taking "property" which is "owned" by others. And, yes, you should pay your taxes to contribute to an improved social state of others.

This is literally the argument that led to me becoming an atheist. Not because it's a bad argument, but because it's the opposite of what the bible actually says. Just ask any southern baptist.

Best way to define Good is the betterment of self and society that promotes both. Evil is the imbalance of forcing self on society for self gain that harms the society, or using society to harm the individiual freedom to choose growth.

Good is the balance between order and chaos. Justice and Mercy.

Evil is when one dominates over the other through corruption.

Thats too broad but the last line does fit for the benefit of self and society. Without the distinction of balance between orderliness and chaos then good is subjective instead of objective.

If you choose to be evil, god will punish you and send you to hell. Just kidding, the state will punish you and put you in the box. They will deny you freedoms at the consent of the people. You will spend your days rotting away being raped and beaten by men far worse than you, because your captors stand on such a moral high ground that they don't even have the balls to kill you.

That's not how it works
Being good is its own reward, you just get to see the fruits of goodness. God doesn't "reward" you it's not a slot machine. Those who choose good live forever with God as a consequence of choosing goodness.
Evil is the unmaking of goodness; those who choose evil are unmade and cease to exist. There's no eternal punishment. Justified punishment is a good thing, it gives you the opportunity to learn from your mistakes and be good. Those who choose evil do not get that chance, they are simply erased from existence. In the infinitesimal jot of time in which they realize the eternal goodness they have lost, they suffer infinite loss and sorrow...then they are sniffed out forever.

Read After Virtue by Alasdair MacIntyre. It specifically addresses this issue. He's a philosopher and Christian convert from Marxist atheism.

My trust in other people is so damaged that I can’t decide what’s good or bad anymore. I’m a mutt and as much as I want to side with the white race, there’s a good chance that they’ll stab me in the back for not being white enough. At the same time siding with nonwhites isn’t even remotely an option.
There’s no one to trust, and to make it worse no one needs me. I might as well live for myself and try to treat other people well before shit hits the fan and I’m forced to kill everyone and then myself.

The essence of reality is primary to knowledge or virtue/vice.

The fact that making one choice is exclusive of other choices means that totally free will doesn't really exist, all you have at best is limited freedom of choice to make decisions which are frequently irrevocable while basing your decision on your limited knowledge of any given situation. You may as well be riding a bicyle on a tightrope in the dark.
