A civil war would most likely be over incredibly quickly. The extreme left would be crushed, they are not combat ready and they don't have the military on their side. They are also concentrated in fixed locations while right wingers hold much more territory by default.

I constantly move between feelings of rage and despair. I have a sense that the future I was promised as a child has been taken away. Thinking about what the young me expected the world to be like when he grew up makes me want to break down laughing or crying.
