I'm trying to stay hopeful about Trump ending birthright citizenship and building the wall, but it's very hard to find actual positives anywhere in the West, except in countries like Hungary, Poland, etc.
We've known for a decade that Texas will turn blue. Now we're just waiting for it to finally happen. No one is deporting Mexicans or doing anything substantial to turn the tide. After the Presidency is solidly and permanently Democratic, I think we're going to see the Democratic party split into two factions in the future: a moderate Democratic side, and a Bernie Sanders socialist side.
The Republicans will only be relevant on the local and state level. What might happen is that we see some of the more conservative white states take a stand against the increasingly anti-white rhetoric. One big problem is that all of these states are land-locked or don't have direct access to the sea. If Oregon, Washington and California were solidly red, conservative states, we might have serious hopes of secession or civil conflict, but as it stands, I don't think states like North Dakota, Wyoming Idaho seceding is a realistic possibility.
