When did the steryotype that Americans are fat start?
When and why did the USA get fat?

When national BMI exceeded national GDP
Reagan had a heart attack, then it happened they started curving on shit, and making everyone fat.

when fucking japanese pieces of shit
started putting bacteria that extrcete
an enzyme that breaks down carbs
and sugars to be stored as fat.
that's when and that's why you
cannot get thin, you have a bacteria
in you that the japs don't put in
their food supply but put into ours
that makes you fat.
japan needs to nuke itself.
>It's the japs fault I'm fat
Sure.
don't read the patent then, don't find
out what amylase is then, die of diabetes
i don't care about you.
In the early 1970s, Agriculture Secretary Earl Butz urged farmers to grow as much corn as possible, which led to a shitload of cheap corn, which led to HFCS in literally everything. That's pretty much when it started.
Please take a look at corn farmers and tell me it is corn making people fat
Its increasingly sedimentary lifestyle compounded with a Junk Food Consumer Culture
The cheapest way to get addicted to your food is to cover carbs in salt, fat, and or sugar which we only become more and more efficiency at producing in new and interesting forms en mass
Around the waist line.
I think it's a combination of all of those things. Corn subsidies which gave us the poison that is HFCS, sedentary lifestyle, junk food, as well as the demonization of healthy fats and their subsequent replacement with sugar and refined carbs.
80's.
It’s literally just soda. When your average American drinks literally 45 gallons of sugar water a year, it’s no fucking shock they’re all obese.
Soda needs to be fucking illegal to serve to children.
Calories, especially the wrong kind of calories, became cheap and available.
Fat and proud
When Americans started eating too much. Fatties will come up with any and all excuses other than this simple explanation to try to blame their gluttony on.

>Increased food energy supply is more than sufficient to explain the US epidemic of obesity
Calories being cheap dont force you to eat 3k a day
Erh mmm mmm
*clears throat*
Yes ATTENTION EVERYONE....
Burgers.
Not sure what your point is here. Nobody was forced. Nobody needed to be forced in the first place. It's food, people like eating it. If you make more food available to lab animals they'll probably eat more too.
Boomers started the trend of gourmet sandwiches, where it was mostly bread and no meat. In a nutshell: the wheat jew, the hops jew, the corn jew.
Stop drinking alcohol, stop eating fast food
Statistically, the British are even fatter.
This is a dumb point. Yes people are overeating, but you can overeat on fruit and veggies all fucking day, and maybe you’ll be chubby, but you’ll never get obese.
So what people are binging on is extremely relevant
the exact time was 10:41am on 4/33/1981
Overeating means eating too many calories if you want to nitpick. That's why the graph and article use the terminology "food energy" rather than just "food."
Around the time Reagan gave amnesty to millions of mestizos.
And my point is it’s not the amount of food eaten, but the food choices that are the issue.
Sugar is the culprit, don’t beat around the fucking bush. If people over indulged on yams and steak they’d still be a lot healthier and thinner than their current diet of soda and chips
Subsidized corn
Worse than just sugar, subsidized corn leading to really cheap high fructose corn syrup
Reminder. Fat people are not allowed into the ethno state.
I'm not even kidding when I say fat guys are smug about having a weight advantage over me.
It's beyond frustrating, like an English phd poopooing someone with a math bachelor's.
when we went all in on low fat and low sodium diets while increasing sugar consumption
Cut sugar, cut carbs, eat more meat. Low carb/high fat is the way to go.
Oh, you're the soda guy. Well I don't believe any obese people would stop being obese by switching to diet soda. That's a retarded distraction topic. If you look at the calories in soda it's nowhere close to the majority of what's making people fat. The fact there's an incredibly easy fix for soda drinkers if they want to eliminate all calories (switch to the zero calorie diet version) should tell you as much.
You're right. That's explained by cultural decline.
