I have no clue as to why the GOPe isn't getting as aggressive over AZ, but it could be that they feel confident enough to Flake's seat slide under the premise that they could always get it back in 6 years after the Flake/McCain revenge vote peters out and Sinema goes on record voting against conservative SCOTUS appointments.
