How what?
The first thing you do when counting is checking that the number of ballots being counted matches the number of ballots received.
Then again when receiving the ballot you ask for photo ID. Except... You don't, right? Not in America.
Anyone could have printed a couple thousand ballots and left them in a box. Don't trust it.

Florida law stipulates how long election officials have to count votes and they're counting absentee votes still that are suppose to have been completed 30 minutes after the polls closed

This is happening only in two heavily blue counties which do this every election and have yet to face repercussions for doing so

It's mind boggling that the democratic rights are not more secure than this. Without photo ID you don't even need to "find" extra ballots. Just have a thousand people drive around to say 30 different polling places each. Boom, 30 000 extra votes for your candidate. Or 300 000 if you want.

The American left is always demanding that we look to Europe as a beacon of change and progressive values. But as soon as you bring up that a good chunk of European countries require a valid photo ID to vote they get incredibly defensive and cry racism. We can't require ID to vote, it will suppress minorities...that collect welfare...that requires a valid form of ID to collect.

The thing is, they want their way. Anything other than total control and they will scream and cry racism, discrimination, bigotry, and call the right all sorts of awful names. It's not about doing what's right with them, it's about gaining control. Anything that will affect their rise to power will be shouted down as bigotry or racism.

In Florida where I voted the ballots are counted by a machine and the machine drops each ballot into a box.

The box is then taken to a storage area to be counted later.
Anyone can literally manipulate the box or the area and add/remove either boxes or ballots.
