Under an idea of an extreme circumstance I.E the hypothetical situation of a political uprising that follows suit with such beliefs, there is a fear that they would ultimately be at crossroads, unable to stomach the scenario where the beliefs they've subscribed to to protect themselves, their closest kin and decedents might affect others they care about negatively (I.E they want a white ethno-state but would rather not have their black best friend get killed, deported, enslaved, made second class, ect.).
With such pressures, they ultimately go along with the idea that they and their anecdotal examples will be fine in their civic-nationalist utopia.
