I honestly doubt the 2% figure. That they represent 2% of the US population. It's looking more and more doubtful to me. Where does that data come from? Could it be the case that Jews are lying and putting down "White" in the Census?
They don't like being counted according to one. I asked another one if she was one and she said she used to be. There is no way the 2% figure is correct but then if you consider the one drop rule, nearly everyone is something else.

I did some research and it turns out that Jewish isn't even a category in the census. I can almsot guarantee that most or almost all Jews put don't white as their race.
The 2% (if it is infact that, i don't know where to find the actual census results) might be only the few people who bother to put down "Other" and write out Jewish.
