It's not so much that people want to sort themselves sort by demographics, it's that we need to common sense practical immediate solutions to our economic problems (debt). An quick way to achieve that is to stop illegal immigration. Another example would be voter registration. We need a standard law across the nation. You need to show your ID to get alcohol, why not to vote? Another example would be the Federal Reserve. Why do we pay compounding interest to a cartel of private banks to issue our own currency? Imagine if we had fixed rates on loans, a national bank and paid interest to our own treasury. It is not prejudice which drives the working and middle classes, it is practicailty, sustainability and common sense.
