I agree, there's a -lot- of bad science in the field of psychology. Milton Erickson actually addressed that, too. He talked about how psychologists like to ignore the biggest uncontrolled variable in any psychological experiment, namely the squishy grey one between the subject's ears. Psychologists have made worse mistakes than that, too, like with twin studies where they sent twins to two sets of equivalent middle class parents and then concluded that parenting has no effect on psychological outcomes.

Something like that. Free will itself is difficult to define, and whether you have free will or not doesn't really matter. Psychology is complicated. You can make choices, but even then your feelings and beliefs may limit the choices you can actually make. The more psychologically free you are the more and better choices you'll have available to you. And yes, even very simple techniques can be used to control people, and children are the easiest to manipulate. Children that have been exposed to the modern propaganda regime end up with serious emotional disabilities, which is why we have all these white people who advocate for white genocide, and why we have all these males who put on dresses and chop their dicks off. These people have been psychologically destroyed, and even the people who have seen through the lies have been damaged enough that they no longer pose any real threat.
