Is the Italian party "Casapound" a real fascist party, or they're just a bunch of jerks?

How are they doing? Popular or just a really small fringe group?
What I know is they are doing some good charitable work and do not appear to be a violent organization. Not giving room for the usual attacks. Am I wrong?
