A Baltimore high school student apparently got in a scuffle with another student in class, the teacher tried to separate the two students and one of the students got angry and punched her in the face yelling names at her.
The school and authority’s are looking into an investigation now.

This is not surprising in any way to any person involved. They punch their young practically from birth - siblings beat younger siblings, it’s just straight jungle law. I went to a public high school in a very affluent community in the US. A teacher asked a senior always late to class to go to the disciplinary office. They got into an argument that turned physical ending with the student throwing a few swings. The police came and he was immediately expelled and subsequently charged as an adult for assault as he was 18 at the time.
I'm sure his family had a high income, but there are other upbringing factors that can bring this behavior. I think hitting as a solution comes from an adult influence like parents. I'm a teacher now sometimes to small kids. Some of them try to spank me. I can only imagine this behavior comes from them getting spanked. In fact, in my experience, no kid is bad. Anytime I have a problem with a student, I immediately look to the parents and can see the real problem clearly. It's the parents' responibility to be the strong adult influence on a child.

so looking at the video, it looks like the teacher threw the first punch and is the one doing most of the beating. Regardless of what a student says, you don't punch them. The teacher needs to be trained how to handle these kinds of students and situations, though he will probably lose his job first.
