What is to prevent government corruption in a NatSoc government and subversion of the people's interests by self interested party members? Supposedly there was considerable corruption in the NSDAP. There is always the incentive that such a thing is a capital offence, but it could still occur. There is an incentive to snitch, as it would bring one praise and improve their station, but is that enough? The corruption could start mildly, not really worth reporting, until very widespread. As anyone who has done any research knows, the American gas chambers use a partial vacuum system - hence the need for huge steel doors and pressure bearing containers. this is not necessary, although it does add a certain safety aspect. however the nazis had lots of practice using gas chambers for clothes delousing, making gas tight doors etc, that kept in gas at high concentration for many hours (out of wood by the way)
