Its unironically a multi layered film that can be perceived as both a narrative for the existential struggle for white identity in a multi racial society, or as a film that condemns the violence of racism on a basis that the only scene anyone fucking remembers or cares about is the curb stomp that depicts the Nazi Norton as the barbaric villain, even though the black he killed was a Crip who tried to steal his truck.

City of god was a steaming pile of garbage. I had to watch it for intro to film class in college. complete propaganda piece.

Really well made film. However the kike director almost ruined it. But Edward Norton had creative control than him. The kike did not liked it to the point he whined and sue the studio, but he lost and got blackballed.

The film did not really deal with much racism. That was really only at the surface, it dealt with more on having hatred on things you can't control.

The film also did a really great job on giving sympathy to the skinheads and emotions instead of making them one dimensional, in order the audience can better understand where they are coming from.

I thought City of God was actually a decent slice-of-life kinda movie...captured a time and place. Unfortunately, my DVD copy had scratches and I didn't get to enjoy it to the fullest.

There's nothing that disgusts me more than a man who gives up. By the end of the movie I wanted to stomp his head in for being a cowardly bitch. Failure of one's duty isn't ideal, but it can be made right so long as a man gives it his all until the end. Only in death does duty end.

I always thought that American history x was comparatively Jow Forums--like, in a relative sense--because while the movie is ultimately against the neo-nazis, it shows that they do have an argument and that their motives aren't totally inexplicable. This is much more even handed than the moral hysteria with which this subject matter is usually treated.
