In addition to what everyone has said, there is also a negative side affect when coming off the pill. It can take at least 4 months for the woman’s body to return to its natural hormone production, and since most girls start in their mid teens now And stay on it for many many years it can really mes them up. My fiancé got off of it and for 4 months had insane hives all over her body because she was producing insane amounts of hormones since her body had no idea what it was doing. I had to take her to the ER a couple times. She’s fine now but it was scary for a bit.
