ey boys, I'm thinking about converting to paganism. Looking in to prayer now but can't really find a good list of germanic gods, together with the purpose of the deity.
Any other information on the subject is appreciated as well!

Okay okay, first of all.
That video is very helpful, only thing is the deities arn't listed in it.
Also thanks for the varg you're 100% right, prayer isn't paganism. Still though it would be nice to know who to attribute what to if you know what i mean
You don't have to convert to paganism. It's a lineal blood thing. Can't convert into it, can't convert out of it.
Pray this every day
Stay Abrahamic if you're going to be one of those people who replaces one "god" with many and not focus on venerating and honoring your ancestors. I fucking hate LARPers who start calling themselves an "Odinsman" and carrying around wooden spoons. Paganism is about the connection with blood and soil with some allegories and idealistic figures thrown in.

You're a madman.
You should start at the beginning with the pagan creed at your local temple that claims unbroken lineage back to the age of the druids. I'm sure there must be one that our ancestors used to proclaim and that solidifies what pagans stand for. Otherwise anyone could just claim anything about paganism which can never be verified.. like a jewish trick.
