ey boys, I'm thinking about converting to paganism. Looking in to prayer now but can't really find a good list of germanic gods, together with the purpose of the deity.

Stay Abrahamic if you're going to be one of those people who replaces one "god" with many and not focus on venerating and honoring your ancestors. You should start at the beginning with the pagan creed at your local temple that claims unbroken lineage back to the age of the druids. I'm sure there must be one that our ancestors used to proclaim and that solidifies what pagans stand for. Otherwise anyone could just claim anything about paganism which can never be verified.. like a jewish trick.
