Is this real life? My sides.
Woke up to this in my local newspaper today
Its last 42 dead now.
Nothing to see here. Just God smiting pornographers and sodomites.
The ashen skellingtons were pretty gruesome desu. Hope nobody ever puts my or my family's corpses on liveleaks like that.
>paradise, california
As you can see he's dead.
Lol idk that's so strange to hear in the context he's in.
Maybe if your family watches then they would learn and not be retarded like the dead.
I thought they might be ok. They looked comfy in sitting in those cars as if they were at a red light. However, our guy on the ground, recording it all with a potato, assured us they were all dead.
It was a retirement community that was considerably less blue than the average Hollywood horde-o-liberalism.
"Voting in Paradise leans red. 42.9% of the people in Paradise voted Democrat in the last presidential election. 46.5% voted Republican, and the remaining 10.6% voted Independent."
bestplaces.net
That's 57% "Fuck you, Hillary Clinton.". By comparison, the state was 61.7% voting Democrat. Don't be retarded.
Always nice to see Republicans burnt to ash.
Is that fucking Deckard Cain?
Did he survive Diablo again?
I'm laughing pretty hard at my fellow Californians burning to cinders.
I've never seen an irl fire, so I have no basis, but if someone were to ask me if a super hot huge fire can burn trees to ash, I would say definitely. How are trees still standing after that?
>"We're not going to die like this," Californian, moments before dying like this
The bark protects the tree to a certain degree. The fire is mostly burning dry fuel on the ground and moving with the wind. It's like when you start a bonfire and the dry kindling goes up real fast but the wood take a while to get burning. The fire raced along the ground and enveloped these folks as they were trying to flee but most of the older trees withstood it.
I hope they get well soon!
Sounds plausible. I've been camping and have used still moist logs, but they sit in the fire for hours. If this fire went fast, then it would make sense that it wasnt sitting still enough to burn them thoroughly. Thank you.
The only thing republicans do in California is give the dems more electoral votes and more congressional districts
New technology, fiber, radio, cars, houses, new materials that are expensive...all claimed by fire. The earth can reclaim its land with ease. The Lord can wipe this shithole to startup if he so chooses. Maybe its best he did. Look at this.
And it's beautiful. Especially the rich and famous liberal fucks in malibu crying about their mansions burning down. (california resident here)
these death toll numbers are too anemic
The California Question will never have a final solution at this rate.
The one woman died because she had to put her makeup on and now she a skeleton
Sounds like a significant Number
Hundreds still missing
This town was a known fire risk full of old retired people. It was inevitable and I’m surprised 200 or so are not dead.
I just don't think fire is going to do it. We need the earthquake of a millennium to properly deal with CA. Fire gives people a chance to escape.
Forest fires move really fast. We used to get a lot more here but we do shit loads of controlled burning now. When the trees do burn (and they do) they burn for days on end. The fire basically just smolders in the trunk and burns it from inside out leaving a shell.
Have you ever tried to light a solid block of wood, unchopped, using nothing but dry leaves? Its not going to take unless it can sit in the fire for hours. Even then only the outside will char.

This infuriates me. Retired California Firefighter.
MANAGE THE FUCKING FUELS. They take money for permits to build homes - to pay for infrastructure, adding to the fire department, the police, the utilities. Taxes on those homes.
Do fuck all nothing. Its not a new event? 2003 - Huge fucking fires. 2007 1 Million Acres. 2008 1.5 Million Acres, 2017 1.3 Million acres.
Wanna talk structures? 03 - 4000 structures, 07 3500 structures and the cost of 152 Million in damages. Not to mention the Hundreds of millions spent. in 2017 the Tubbs fire killed 22 people and burned 5600 structures to the ground. People never had the chance to collect things. It was GET THE FUCK OUT NOW or you die.
I hang this shit on the Governor. Their inability to do their Fucking job. Where the fuck is the money from the taxes these people paid?
You fucked them. I hope you know that. You fucking killed them with your incompetence.
THERE BEAMING LAZERS FROM SATELLITES TO CAUSE FIRES IN CALIFORNIA
Yes California gov ignored multiable warnings to make clear zones and do prescribed burns in winter. So the fuel just built up .
Nigga, how do you die in a fire while in your car? Just roll up the windows and turn on the ac. Damn, Californians are dumb.
>we're not going to die like this
quote from man who died
I dunno if you've ever been in a fucked up situation before, but he's pretty shaken up about it, but trying to keep his head and face reality. Which makes for some surreal conversation.
at last i truly see...
Man, saw the Klan in that thumbnail for a sec
It's like that all over the west US.
No one actually cares enough to go hike up with chainsaws to clean up deadfall or controlled burns to keep it maintained, so when the next forest fire comes through it burns all the hotter.
Ultimately people just don't give a shit.
center of tree is damp
dry stuff on the outside burns, ashes over, ash and lack of fuel smothers flame before center dries out enough to burn
ashy trees still standing
no fire
No there is rumor un -insulated power lines falling in combustible areas. just another cheap ass power company risking everyone's lives.
Poor California.

>we're not going to die like this
>dies
>What're you gonna do, stab me?
I saw a dude get blown in half and when we got out of the vehicle I remember just focusing on how his blood was filling all the cracks in the pavement then my next thought was how he basically just became an object now that he was dead and it literally doesn't make a damn bit of difference, we will all just keep on keeping on regardless of whether he was alive or dead. It's a funny thing when you finally realize you don't truly matter at all to anyone but the people who love you.
california deserves to burn
there are no innocents in the golden state, this modern Sodom and Gomorrah.
let them all die
Except there's two agencies in California in place to do just this. CalFire and US Forest Service. And its done, at least in some areas. I did it for year.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is the State of California's agency responsible for fire protection in State Responsibility Areas of California totaling 31 million acres, as well as the administration of the state's private and public forests.
Overseen by the State Fire Marshall, who is overseen by the Governor
tragic. Females never change
Agreed The state knows of this time bomb .but is too cheap to address it any more. they actually make a fortune so called fighting the fires ( witch they just let burn ) then charge all the rebuilding fees. Many lose their land due to no real boundary recorded. I have lived through 2 massive fires they are all in the states favor now...
We have the forest service in Colorado too.
But you can still run across trails where it's only partially finished. Where you have to hike over logs that were previously cut down, but the logs just stay there because they lacked the manpower and they have so much ground to cover.
I'm just saying this is one of those things where an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure.
Live trees are literally water. Seriously, grab a branch and try to burn it. Not easy
Sounds shitty. I've not had anything that bad, but it blows me away that some people haven't really had any bad at all. Or even seen a dead body in their lives.
I'm lucky, but other people are weirdly sheltered.
Actually it was global warming that killed those people. The fire chief said so. If we reduced global warming there wouldn’t be fires
Norther cali is full of Republicans.
did they say that to a 911 operator or something?
>why doesn't California just ban arson?
>MANAGE THE FUCKING FUELS
I don't understand why in a high fire risk area they wouldn't have massive pre-cut fire lines around major populace areas with FD on standby ready to wet down to prevent flare ups from wind and shit. I know wildland shit is tough but christ.
Me too, and that's before reading your comment
Top kek
haha wait what, your telling me california has uninsulated power lines?
T.Oregon fag whos never had to leave
It's illegal to cut fire brakes or even remove undergrowth and dead trees in California.
Its almost 60% chance those are crispy dems. I'll take it.
California is going to burn to the fucking ground and its going to be their fault
>people incinerated into skeletons so fast they couldn't even flee their cars
>implying this was a natural fire
Our allies in the Antarctic Reich have stuck again.
>and God rained judgement down on Sodom and Gomorrah
Clear cutting for fire prevention was abandoned sometime in the mid 70s
How is the NFPA not actively fighting shit like this or addressing it to prevent wildland lodds and civ deaths. Let Cali Burn, I would refuse to deploy.
That picture is physically impossible.
Without atmosphere to atrophy the thermal energy, the mirror wouldn't be able to stay in it's proper shape to redirect light.
