Take a gap year. 90% of my first year uni everyone would have rather done a gap year to figure out their life first before wasting a year at first year uni.

Don't do any B.Science/Medical science or related degrees, they are a money factory for the uni, most of them graduate and have to do masters in a completely unrelated field (more money for the uni...).
