You Catholics are unbearable.

>who disagree with the Bible?
Have you even read the Church Fathers, who wrote the best commentaries on Scripture?
A lot of these guys are direct disciples of the Apostles like Ignatius of Antioch who sat at St. John's feet, was his personal friend, and ordained a Bishop by St. Peter.
earlychristianwritings.com/text/ignatius-smyrnaeans-roberts.html
Here in 110AD, before the Catholic Church put the Scriptures into canon (in 382, 393, 419AD), he tells his flock to be wary of the heretics (Gnostics) who do not pray with them.
Why? Because they don't believe the Eucharist to be the actual body and blood of Christ, since Gnostics rejected that Christ had a body.

What do you think “Protestants” were protesting against?
It wasn’t the Bible.

Legitimate spiritual authority.

>Because they don't believe the Eucharist to be the actual body and blood of Christ
Perfect example, you fucking heretic:
>23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
That’s Christ saying that, btw.

See, you don’t even know what they were protesting. Of course you don’t, because then you’d be a Protestant.

>They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer, because they confess not the Eucharist to be the flesh of our Saviour Jesus Christ, which suffered for our sins, and which the Father, of His goodness, raised up again.

Paul joseph Watson

Malachi 3:6 tells us that God doesn't change.
Hebrews 13:8 tells us that Christ is the same today, yesterday, and forever.
Col. 1:24 tells us that the Church is the Body of Christ.
John 14:6 tells us that Christ is the way, truth, and the life.
1 Timothy 3:15 tells us that the Church is the foundation and pillar of truth.

Therefore, truth cannot change because God cannot change, and what the Church teaches cannot change or be in error.
So if "truth" was "rediscovered" in the 16th century which contradicted the former 1,500 years, then that means the Church was not the pillar of truth and the gates of Hell prevailed against the Church for 1,500 years.
Thus Christ was a liar.

Your whole position is predicated upon this logical fallacy.
Indeed they did at the Last Supper.

Patrick Little’s channel

>dont expose redpill channels to large audiences
Is this the autism?

>So god doesn’t change into bread?
He is a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek who offered sacrifice in the manner of bread and wine. He is the bread of life. He was born in Jerusalem, the "house of bread," in a manger, where animals eat from.
>So Christ is still god in human form, and not bread?
Christ is in His glorified Body. Not like you and I, until the resurrection if we're among the saved.
>So we should eat the Church? I thought the bread was the body of Christ? Wait, I thought God couldn’t change?
God doesn't change. He hasn't changed His teachings in 2,000 years nor has the Church. He didn't raise up revolutionaries to institute new contrary doctrines like sola scriptura and sola fide.
>Btw the actual verse is Christ’s body’s *sake*; it’s purpose
Read the Greek.
In John 6:50-53 He uses the Greek word "phago" which simply means eating--and can be taken symbolically. The Jews begin to protest.
Then in verse 54 he uses the word "trogo" meaning to "rip, gnaw, chew" His Body.
They then choose to leave Him (John 6:66) over this doctrine. He doesn't chase after them and explain that He didn't mean cannibalism.
Instead, He turns to His disciples and asks if they, too, will leave.
>Protestantism isn't a religion
>earlier: "I'm a Protestant"
>now "I am a Christian"
C'mon we know your tricks.

By that logic so have men
This whole men vs women thing is one of the kikeiest things out there

>Church
>Ruled by men
>Infallible
There's the problem, kiddo. The Church isn't one man, nor a group of men.

"Wherever 2 or more gather in my name, there am I with them."
That is the Church, you dumbass. It's fellowship with Christ.

Nuclear family is a relatively modern invention and was the cancer that led to this current dissolution of families altogether.

Large extended families of uncles, aunts, grandparents, and cousins were the norm for all of history until just the last couple hundred years, and even more recently in lower castes.
Children need many adult influences and role models besides just their parents, and they need many other kids around their same age to play with.

Camille Paglia talks about this a lot
youtube.com/watch?v=lceVoctpJOM

The church has changed his teachings, that is the issue.
>read the Greek
>of this different verse from the one I am disagreeing with
Are you even trying?
I swear it’s like you aren’t even trying the word we’re are talking about is huper - on behalf of, for the sake of.

Also, Christ being the bread of life is not the same thing as your bread being Christ.

Based nip

>I need a new e-celeb to tell me what to think

Attached: npc quote.png (374x229, 29K)

>That is the Church, you dumbass. It's fellowship with Christ
Let's follow that logic through.
>Matthew 18
> [15] But if thy brother shall offend against thee, go, and rebuke him between thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou shalt gain thy brother.
>[16] And if he will not hear thee, take with thee one or two more: that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may stand.
>[17] And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.
So, a group of a few men are together. One sins against you. You go to him and rebuke him. He continues. You bring others.
He still refuses to hear you.
You take him to... the church. What church? The Lutherans? Methodists? Episcopalians? Independent Baptists? Southern Baptists? Anglicans? Pentecostals? Random non-denominational sect?

Will a Lutheran hear the judgement of the Baptist church? Or the Baptist a Lutheran? A Methodist the Episcopalian?
No, it's comical to think so and shows a lack of understanding of Scripture and ecclesial authority.
The Church they are brought to must have binding authority, as is said in Matthew 18:18.
After all, this Church must be the foundation and pillar of truth, 1 Tim 3:15.
This is not found in Protestant sects and certainly not among a couple people.

Is there some benefit of analog celebs? Information is information.

This always seems like a retarded angle to take.

If we are unable to share avenues of information on Jow Forums of all places, we're essentially fucking up our own spread of information.

>what church
You were a fan of the Greek right?
The word for church here:
>ekklésia - an assembly, a (religious) congregation

>is not the same thing as your bread being Christ
Not until consecration, buddy.
>The church has changed his teachings, that is the issue.
Laughable! Truth cannot contradict truth. Sixteenth century inventions are just that, inventions of a rebellious Catholic priest that was unable to control his passions and founded protestantism; your spiritual patrimony.

Attached: padrepio-stigmata.jpg (386x450, 43K)

>Not until consecration
And we are full circle back to Christ explicitly warning us not to trust anyone who tells us if Christ is here or there.

Why should I believe the bread is Christ, when Christ tells me not to?

>>ekklésia - an assembly, a (religious) congregation
Indeed, and who was given the keys to heaven and the authority to bind and loose first?
Peter in Matthew 16:19.
This mirrors the language of Isaiah 22:22:
>And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder: and he shall open, and none shall shut: and he shall shut, and none shall open.
Isaiah is replacing one prime minister to the kingdom of David with another. Christ invokes this same language with Peter.
The rest of the Apostles (who went on to become Bishops) were given this authority in Matthew 18:18.

>Why should I believe the bread is Christ, when Christ tells me not to?
The bread is certainly not Christ at your Welch's grape juice and bread commemoration service.
Maybe you ought to start with actually reading the writings of the Apostolic Fathers (those who were direct successors of apostles) and the Church Fathers of the first 3 centuries.
They all believed, taught, and died for this. The Roman pagans even called Christians "cannibals" because they believe they "eat the flesh of the man called Jesus."

What sort of nonsequitur is this? The command was to bring your brother to an assembly of believers.

The apostles died, by the way.

Hey, you can keep telling me to listen to dudes, I’m gonna keep telling you to listen to Christ.
One of those sounds more Christian than the other.

Good luck user, it’s never too late to accept Christ.

>The command was to bring your brother to an assembly of believers
You're either not very bright or you're young.
There must be one assembly--one authority on earth to make the final decision. There is no such thing in protestantism. One can go to any random assembly and hear diametrically opposite things.
>The apostles died, by the way.
And they had successors.
I appreciate your effort.

>Starts listing denominations of bullshit
>As if that's what a Church is

This fucker gets it.

>Hey, you can keep telling me to listen to dudes

Just nothin' else I guess.

>>Starts listing denominations of bullshit
>>As if that's what a Church is
Beliefs matter, user.

>One authority
I believe that is God, and he isn't among any 'Churches' you've listed so far.

Ahhh so you're just like the gnostics that believe in an invisible church of believers.

Quite Frankly. 2 hour live stream on YouTube M-F at 7pm EST. All shows are archived on YT and iTunes Podcasts.

>Invisible
>Brothers in Christ
You can talk to people, you know. You need to get out from behind that screen.

>none of those 'Churches' you've listed so far has God in them
>Church is just a gathering of believers
>thus the Church is an invisible amalgamation of believers around the world
>and yet it is the pillar and foundation of truth
>even if they don't believe the same or have the same faith
Just what, you've got to be the rnULzxEq guy behind a proxy because he fell into such simple logical fallacies the exact same way.

Jesus is the pillar of foundation and Truth.
"I AM the truth, the way, and the life."
It's pretty simple user. Groups of men have used their power over others to corrupt an incredibly simple message. That's all 'religion' is today. The message from Jesus has long since been tuned out. When was the last time someone has preached out of the Beatitudes - the lessons Jesus himself proclaimed during his Sermon on the Mount? They're pretty self evident stuff. It's not hard for people to understand, when they're not trying to do power moves and be Jewish (legalistic) like you are.

>Jesus is the pillar of foundation and Truth
I thought you fellas were Bible Christians?
>[15] But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
>[1 Timothy 3:15]
Indeed He is the truth; He is the Church, because it is His Body. In it can suffer no erroneous doctrine, and because it is His body it's truth cannot change.

That excludes you post-sixteenth century boys and your thousands upon thousands of autonomous sects using Scriptures that don't even belong to your 'church.'

I like history and shit playing in the background, but not actual politics. The only reason I like politics is because I'm bored and want to argue.

When did I ever reference any of them? And when did I ever reference Catholicism, either? Just read the scriptures and grow up, man. Religion isn't meant to be an argument, it's meant to be a fellowship of men, to be fishers of men.

Go make some friends, user.

>Just read the scriptures and grow up, man.
We do this as a family every night, user.
When you're separated from the Church, you're separated from history. Religion became an argument even during Jesus' day with the Pharisees. Then afterward with the Gnostics. Then the Manicheans. Then the Arians, etc, etc etc.
Heresy is inevitable.
Read the Scriptures. Read the writings of the early Fathers, Apostolic and after. Their writings aren't inspired of the Holy Ghost like the Scriptures, but tell you what the early Christians believed.
You'll find your way if you accept the graces to see it and act on it.
