Due process literally just involves giving a written statement about why the person had their pass revoked, as stated in that article. In other words they have to be transparent about the reasoning why they revoked the pass. The power is still strictly in the White House's hands.

It looks like you missed the part where the person losing the press pass must be given the opportunity to rebut the charge:
