My basic premise is that the best way to predict the future is by looking at the past and the most applicable period in human history from the past to today is around 70AD, the time when Rome destroyed Judea and the 2nd temple.
The US has supported and protected Israel for 70 years, they would not exist if not for the US. How has Israel repaid the US for their benevolence? So jewish merchants came back to Jerusalem from all over the empire, bought a goat from the Pharisees, but then they had to exchange their currency for the only currency they would accept payment in, the silver Tyrian Shekel. So they exchanged all kinds of currency and MOSTLY Roman denarius to buy the goat and sacrifice it.
Now the Pharisees controlled BOTH the price of this goat as well as the exchange rate between the the foreign currency and the Shekel.
They acquired enormous amounts of Roman currency, and they shaved the outside of it to devalue the currency before reintroduxing it, thus devaluing the currency.
Also as far as Titus mentioned in Judea had been funding Romes enemies for CENTURIES at this point, just as Israel funds ISIS and (((terrorism))) today. Infact one of the primary supporters of the Phoenecians (carthage) was Judea as most of the Carthagians were infact jewish and the ones that were not were a very closely related Canaanite religion, that had almost identical practices and customs, the Phoenicians were a blending of the Tribe of Dan and the Philistines.

Yes, the Essenes did not believe in the oral torah at all and ONLY followed the written Torah. Im fairly sure John the Baptist was an Essene and there is a possibility Jesus himself came from an Essene tradition or at least absorbed their beliefs after meeting John the Baptist.
