Why would a migrant caravan coming from Central America travel the absolute farthest possible route through Mexico to reach Tiajuana which is one of the most heavily populated and policed border sections when they could have traveled a thousand less miles to south Texas? To get to the Tejas border, you have to travel through much more dangerous parts of Mexico ruled by cartels. The CA border area is safer, and CA is much friendlier to fellow spics than TX. At the CA border they'll be greeted by pro bono asylum lawyers.
