Nah. Not impressive, its not about max temperature its about duration, and total energy output, not temperature. Total energy output is (Volume of Plasma * (Temperature of Plasma)^4 * Duration). Truly impressive progress is the Wendelstein 7-X which has reached 80 million degrees, with a duration of 0.25 seconds, which is an extremely long duration relative to similar tests. The ultimate goal is an indefinite duration where power can be produced.
And if you mention the NIF, it is bullshit. The NIF will never produce power economically because the fuel costs too much to produce and the process cannot be scaled. It was a good idea to learn about the fusion process but will never actually be useful beyond that.
