I just recently turned 17, and let me tell you, I feel like my life is already starting to slip away. My childhood was wonderful, I had friends, actually interacted with my family and spent a lot of time outside socialising with others. But for the last 3 years I have become very reclusive and not enjoyed the company of others. Due to this social solitude I now find it difficult to make conversation. Academically I also use to be very proficient, but that is now a distant memory.

I have an overprotective mother, 14-17 are important years for social development. I also live out in the countryside (all my friends are in town). This meant that it was very difficult for me to socialise with them. Slowly over time my mother wore down my will to meet up with them due to the hassle she would cause. The thing is I never really minded staying inside on my computer, So I became complacent with my mothers parenting.
Of course while I was locked up in my room, I started to watch Mark Collett and Jared Taylor. All the while my friends were out making new friends whom would essentially replace me in time.
Also my father is very introverted so I didn't exactly look to him for social inspiration.
