Anyway but this just a common mistake in which the models can't really tell if the low was going to be over NYC or 60 miles to the east. Basically since the center low is bringing in warm air from the Atlantic.

The models simply suggested that this system was going to be further east and bring in warmer air which would of simply lead to a small snow event which would of melted away quickly anyway.

Also there's this Phenomenon where when it snows quickly in a short period of time. The snow itself will actually cool the air a few degrees further. When it's projected to be 33 degrees then this is quite a big deal and that is VERY much what has occured on the east coast today. It'll soon melt away as the center low blows through and brings warmer air to the coastal cities like NYC and Boston, but it keeps moving east so the time in which the snow will be exposed to warm air is being made smaller and smaller the way these forcast are going.

Eastern shore here. Got 2 inches of sleet/snow. This is the earliest accumulating snowfall in the last 50 years. I work with a bunch of farmers and they were all blown away by it. Our first frost was also almost a month ago which is way earlier than expected.

Yeah as we can see here, moisture is being pulled up from the gulf/tropics and is what's giving this system the fuel it needs to produce these figures. Basically OP is a fag and is a try hard.
