If you shot somebody in your country, it being self-defense from being robbed with a knife but you dip out from the scene and run home before the cops show up. What are the repercussions if they somehow trace you down?
I'd imagine it would depend a lot on if the perpetrator dies or not? Let's say worst case scenario; he dies. What would happened to you?
Me, being Sven will probably get a few years alone for illegal possession of a firearm and straight up murder charges no matter what if it was a shrunken headed, protruding teeth somali cultral enricher....
The only way you are maybe getting away with fleeing the scene, and it is a big maybe, is calling the cops yourself once you're safe.
Thomas Johnson
>Let's say worst case scenario; he dies. lmao, swedes don't even know how self defense laws work.
Jordan Bennett
They could charge you with a misdemeanor but you'd easily get off for being under emotional duress after the shooting. Also you'd be A OK if you called when you got home and said you fear there were accomplices. So at least in my state, SC. You're Gucci.
Doesn't work the same way over here. Only absolute "necessary" force is allowed to defend yourself with. Pulling of a trigger, regardless of how easy that is, would no doubt be considered "excessive force"
Camden Fisher
You have way more logical laws over there when it comes to robbers, home invasions ect ect. Someone break into your shit - kill em. No problems.
Liam Rogers
You always want to be the first one to call the cops here. Most likely the cops and the court will side with the one who called first.
Joseph White
if you shoot someone, there is NO option but to secure the scene, call 911 and then administer first aid. don't ever take killing lightly. defend yourself, stop the threat, then do everything you can to not have blood on your hands.
Brayden Perez
Much much worse than if you were a minority actively out to murder some one with said firearm.
Liam Brooks
>tfw cucked NY >tfw if a man breaks into my home with a weapon I’m not legally allowed to shoot him unless it’s proven he intended to use it >you can be charged with murder for thwarting a burglary
If you kill attacker and you're not in your house just make sure you left no physical evidence, get out of there will straying away from buildings that could potentially have cameras
if someone sees you you're probably fucked I guess hiding your face and making a run for it is the best option at that point.
Jaxson Jackson
>If you shot somebody in your country, it being self-defense from being robbed with a knife no, even if they get into your home, you have more chances of going to jail
Ian Hill
It isn't enforced beyond >did you make an attempt to retreat? >Yes your honor/officer/whatever. >well, we are deeply saddened by the death of jamal, you may go now. If you're a legal gun owner and the situation called for lethal force, stick around. Only leave if you're still in danger. fleeing will only make things worse. You will be found and charged and it will be drawn out longer than it should.
Aaron Adams
>If you're a legal gun owner and the situation called for lethal force, stick around
In america maybe m8, if you shoot someone with a gun in sweden its a good 8+ years no matter what you say or do.

Fuck me. That's what I get for believing my CCW instructor. On the other hand, quite relieving.
Brandon Evans
Happy to help, but where in the fuck did you take your CCW class?
Wyatt Perez
Completely reasonable and anyone who says otherwise is brainwashed or has a supreme understanding of legalese and can explain how some slimy lawyers and judges can twist the law.
Jackson Walker
Prison. Australia is cucked when it comes to defending yourself.

There's a streamer I watch from Sweden called "Casino Daddy". One of the guys in there, Jesus, was run over by a Palestinian refugee because he got into a fight with his younger brother. The shitskin has been charged with attempted murder, but he's really worried when it goes to trial the "poor immigrant suffered trauma so we should forgive him" precedent will be applied. My country is pretty pozzed, but Sweden sounds like it needs a race war right fucking now.
