Pretty much all the rest pagan religions we don't really know that much about them. Just what Christian monks wrote about them because they saw there was often Christ like stories and such behind them (this proves that Christ was not only born once but always was and is in hearts of the men, even they didn't know about Christ back then they often manifested it like in Beowulf). Also soldiers were first to turn Christians so there was no real blood shedding at all. Almost everyone when they heard gospel of Christ they understood that this is it - Absolute Truth that they have been known somehow but it's now come as word and blood for them.
Now paganism it's hard to even say what does it mean (if you don't count for Sanatana Dharma). Often it's just edgy materialistic world view just like communism (yes i said it), because they both don't recognize metaphysical absolute truths (so it's not based on anything eternal just on things that are always changing).
I see this paganism just as movement that was caused by liberalism (capitalism, communism, fascism, technogracy all of these the same) materialistic worldview to cause conflict for people. They then turn to paganism which is atheistic but still have some "truth" they can stand behind it meaning 'folk''culture' etc. they don't understand that Church like it was meant to be or it's still in Russia actually supports all of these and supports peoples self defend and rule.
So basically new paganism is just one form of classical liberal world views, one in the chain of revolutions and it's meaningless and destroying in that it takes you further away from absolute Truth (Krishna, Christ).
