Let me be specific and name one example, Trump when campaigning said he wouldn't have time to go on vacation or play golf, in the meantime Trump has spent nearly 20% of his time in office on a Trump golf resort playing golf, or just lounging about on his property. He has played more rounds of Golf in two years than any other president before him, despite claiming on numerous occasions that Obama shouldn't be playing golf while president. A rather mundane example but just one of hundreds of examples of Trump's lack of consistency.

He WAS the underdog, did you never see the polls? Nobody expected him to win, the media was entirely against him, the people were VERY loudly against him, there was so much hatred against him by the same people saying he was the one committing the toxicity and hatred.
Even after he became president he was still scrutinized more harshly than any other president before him, because he pissed off the entire media and the loud sjw's, no other president faced this. He has been under such heavy attack unjustly, especially considering he has done far less damage than many other presidents and is the first to not have gone to war since Reagan, sure he has issues but overly and unreasonably criticized.
