Most Christians were usually native to their countries. Muslims spread around a lot of the Arab population into non Arab areas. Egypt used to have Coptic Christians who were mostly killed off by Muslim Arabs, now they are a minority. Turkey stole Greek culture, etc.
The two didn't spread the same, the followers of Jesus weren't commanded to kill, invade, conquer, or to establish a Christian state.
