That seems like a slight mischaracterization of the position usually found on Jow Forums which is that surgery doesn't treat the underlining mental illness and doesn't improve quality of life (the latter your study seems to make a jab at debunking, regardless of the rates that actually go under the knife; while I admit the studies supporting Jow Forums's position are flawed and not nearly extensive enough, that just means we need more research. Additionally, I don't think the average user cares enough about "trans issues"--among other issues--to keep current with the research; probably not necessary, except for intellectual honesty, as they likely don't do any work with trannies). I do want to thank you for bringing new information to light.
