>riot over taxation theft against the rural middle class >1,500 simultaneous manifestations in France >highways, ports and airports blocked >Police can't be dispateched everywhere and give up >realise manifestant are all heading toward Palais de l'Élysée >panic
>2000 manifestations, +200k people, 1 dead, 50 injured >Police is abandoning its positions in the capital >falling back on the presidential palace to protect Macron >extreme panic
I don't know. twitter.com/CRE_SciencesPo/status/1063796250775093249 As you can see a lot of people are protesting in the immediate proximity of the Presidential Palace. It has only happened once in the recent History of the Fifth Republic when cops protested over the assassination of a couple of cops at their house by a terrorist. The police guarding the palace let them pass by solidarity and because... see pic, they were armed.
Here it is just that the Police is dispatching all over the country so they couldn't form barrage and failed to secure the Presidential Palace. On the other hand, protester still have not crossed the line, but they are very determined. They should all know by now that one protester was killed, yet they are still here.
The most radical are talking about blocking refinery and exportation so that oil corporation and our trading partner would put pressure on Macron to stop this by accepting our terms.
Some of the protesters are asking for more public workers reduction. I disagree. A country need public workers, you need teachers, police, firemen, people to clean the streets, etc... you even need people working to collect taxs because it easily become a nightmare if all you face are empty desks.
But there IS public money you can save, easily. The vanity money.
Take a random school near me. They need teachers, better locals, books, chairs... did they get that ? Nop. What did they get ? 200 brand new tablets + 15000euros/year to buy apps and NOBODY use them because it's a fucking nightmare to teach with tablets and there's nobody to charge them, update them, debug, etc... Why did they do that ? Because the director wanted to show how "connected" and "modern" his school was.
They think the gas and diesel prices are too high? Let them have electric cars

People think they can do whatever they want without consequences.
LET ME JUMP INFRONT OF A CAR THAT WE'RE ATTACKING.
God the darwin effect is real

What are the chances this will morph into something else of a revolutionary nature?

Enjoy your riot vacation.
Justin Rogers
Rural peoples are forced to use their car so have mainly diesel cars as it used to be cheaper, but they are poor old whitoids so it's over for them.
Also everything is predicted by algorithm and A.I. now so I guess it's just all part of ((( their))) plan to do some stuffs.
Gabriel Murphy
The riots have turned into fights at Dijon.
Dare I say the "mustards" have come to their nose ? ... Yeah it doesn't work in english, I guess...
Ethan Hall
This frog gets it.
Liam Wilson
Highly unlikely they are not organized in ideology. It's a revolt not a revolution
Ryder James
Some cop will start shooting the protestors, and that's when shit will hit the fan. French Revolution 2.0
Robert Gomez
We don’t need more anything we need less non-white all the rest will follow.
Dominic Murphy
Minute. But I hope that the confusion is used by jihadis to seize power and declare a caliphate.

FIRST NOTICEABLE SUCCESS ! >FIRST NOTICEABLE SUCCESS ! FIRST NOTICEABLE SUCCESS ! >FIRST NOTICEABLE SUCCESS !
One of the objective of the blocking was to stop people from going to the shopping mall. Why ? Because in France we have TVA, it's a tax on consumption. It means everytime you buy something, a part of your money goes to the State. So they wanted to cut down the State revenue of today and they succeeded.
Here we can see that some shopping mall are performing 90% less than normal time.
> you need teachers, police, firemen, people to clean the streets, etc... > paying to clean up after brown people on welfare People are not equal, baguette

In Paris, They want to move out Macron...
Ryan Kelly
may 68 wasn't around an ideology
but today we need dedicated people and today's protest isn't about long-time blocking.
so yeah, everyone's back home tonight.
Nicholas Stewart
France is so far gone... I'll need to see something I haven't seen on Jow Forums before I give a pancake...
> We don’t need more anything we need less non-white all the rest will follow. We don’t need more anything we need less non-white all the rest will follow. > We don’t need more anything we need less non-white all the rest will follow. We don’t need more anything we need less non-white all the rest will follow.

that's funny

You actually support these faggots blocking traffic and attacking women trying to go home.

>retired boomers whining for a fistfull of copper coins Meh.
Chemical agriculture happened. We didn't need it because we already had fertile soils. Germany and Britain are swamps and that's why the Roman never really bothered to conquer or colonise them entirely. With chemical fertilizer (Fritz Aber) and access to world ressource (Peruvian Guano) they were able to feed a growing population.
Jose Morales
>>realise manifestant are all heading toward Palais de l'Élysée If only it was true.
They need to get all the Muslims and black people to riot for no reason as well.
Just bring the entire thing down.
Isaac Fisher
My wife and I are going on our honeymoon in a few days. Our first stop is Paris, France just to see the Eiffel Tower, then we're off to Santorini, Greece for 1.5 weeks. Should I be worried in Paris with these riots (aside from the muzz problem there)
Jackson Bell
They already are at the Elysee but Macron have his CRS army.
Owen Johnson
Lots of useless jobs in the local administrations. That and the money thrown away to the nogs.
Andrew Butler
you are fake news

>may 68 wasn't around an ideology
What the fuck are you on nigger it was a (((commie))) revolution.
There won't flashpoint in France. Can they even own guns there?
This isn't a revolution, it doesn't have a foundation in ideology. Comfort is crumbling away, we predicted these types of revolts, but it's very important that right-wing ideologies cement themselves in the acknowledgement of the current orders failures.
Brandon Ward
I wonder just how live, though. I'm in the same time zone and we're well into dusk now, but in that video it's still pretty much light.
Charles Martinez
No. The riots were long planned and don't intend to last more than today.
Also you want to do more than the Eiffel Tower or you'll really regret spending your whole day in line just for a view on something you don't get to visit.
Leo Carter
It is. But... Pour te dire un secret je sais très bien qu'il va rien se passer et que les manifestants (qui sont à 100m de l’Élysée) vont faire demi-tour ou se faire charger par les CRS. Just don't say it to burgers. I want to have a fun thread full of hopes for happenings.
Sebastian Young

Not exactly, it's kind of a straw that broke the camel's back situation
Evan Edwards
This 100x lets the police disolve in 100 little groups and then directly to the parlament
Aaron Butler
It really wasn't. Some of the students starting the riots may have been communists but the true may 68 started when people just stopped working and they weren't communists.
