Yes there will be more demand for certain goods but that means nothing when you've already devalued the currency by printing more money and increasing debt for a short economic stimulus. It also devalues labour and productivity for some it would be worthwhile to live off UBI rather than work at all, not to mention that the unemployed have no incentive to find work. Wages would have to be adjusted for the demand for workers, prices will rise and in time you'll have higher unemployment, less productivity and an increasing divide between the rich and poor and increasing debt too.

The people receiving the money aren't going to be the ones making the products. The people those people give the money too, i.e. manufacturers, will. By taking money that has zero velocity sitting in the coffers of some billionaire, and giving it to people who will spend it, if not immediately, within a month, the money than gains velocity, and circulation. This increases demand for the things those people buy, which increases the price, which makes it economical to invest in expanding production of those products, i.e. new factories, farms, mines, etc. Are you really this dumb that this has to be explained point by point to you?
