In the past, people have said "Oh Jow Forums is ruined. It's all SHILLS, etc. etc." and yeah I've noticed it, but nowadays it's really too far gone. Whatever conclusion you come to about it, but it's true.
I tested how many threads Jow Forums allows and opened 5 before it stopped me and said "5 is the limit at one time". That means a small team of just 5 shills can run 25 threads! Of course they are going to have IP switching so in reality a small team of shills can run hundreds of sliding threads. Any organized group that wants to can easily dominate the forum. 90% of the catalog is crap. Then they can also ruin any good thread by pushing it over 300 replies.
