the Jow Forums/4channel split is obviously to attract advertisers who are probably less than okay with advertising next to a bunch of people agitating for the next race war. but if the point is to attract advertisers, then hiro is going to have to go all the way, and remove *all* content that is going to keep them away from the site. it's in his financial interests to do this - if he doesn't, then anyone not comfortable with people saying e.g. "nigger" (as in, cia nigger, etc, commonly used on Jow Forums and friends) will not want advertise on Jow Forums, even on its SFW domain, 4channel. i don't know if any of you people have ever bothered reporting a post in your life (good on you if you haven't), but one of the reasons you can report someone is for "racism outside of /b/". while this rarely ever gets enforced, hiro now has a financial incentive to enforce this as much as possible, to remove from all SFW boards anything that potential advertisers might find distasteful, so you can expect the result of this split to be that this rule and others like it get enforced a lot more now. hiro courting normie-friendly advertisers is going to completely change the nature of all SFW Jow Forums boards (most of the site) and remove from it all of the parts that are incompatible with family-friendly advertising. this is basically game over for non-sjws, because while they can espouse their views anywhere with zero repercussions because while they are the dominant culture, we will not be able to use our rhetoric and culture on the rest of Jow Forums anymore because it will prevent advertisers from wanting to advertise on the sfw part of Jow Forums, which hiro now has an incentive to attract as much as possible. the result of this will be the "leftization" of the sfw boards on Jow Forums, as sjws will remain able to speak freely there while we won't be able to do the same after the existing rules are more strictly enforced.

I don't think it would work, for this who domain plan to work Hiro would have to complete disassociate 4channel from any infamy Jow Forums had, even if he went all in in terms of moderation the stigma and reputation would probably still linger.
That being said, the best outcome for all of this is that it dosen't work. And it still leaves us in the position of having the site owned by someone who just wants to squeeze every dime out of it.
