of aforementioned topics than Detroit? As far as I understand, prior to WW2, it was a flourishing white city and head of American car manufacturing. When WW2 began, whites went off to war and blacks were imported to make up that labor. After the war ended, they (whites and blacks) coexisted for a while, but then whites moved en-masse away or to specific neighborhoods. The population of Detroit-proper (not metro) started declining in the 50s and continues to decline. blacks now make up 80 percent of the city.
The city appears to be shit, in financial ruin still, and otherwise trash. I've never been there and have no desire to go there. The only argument I can think of a leftist might give defending why a black city (formerly really successful) is not a nice place to live, is because blacks need white people to teach them/give them money. These niggers have 80 percent of a city and can't make it work. That is a super majority if I've ever seen one and yet the city is in ruins.
Any lefties care to explain? Why would you want this all across the USA, Europe, and other Western countries? It doesn't make sense

The blacks of Detroit had no wealth to maintain the city, prior to the civil rights movement they couldn't even own property. A city as large as Detroit needs a shitton of money to operate and with white people gone blacks couldn't sustain it so it collapsed on itself.

Detroit has been a gentrified white hipster city for almost ten years. They took abandoned buildings and turned them into luxury loft apartments and condos. There is street food and those annoying scooters. A craft beer and burger bar on every block but also actually good restaurants. White teens on bicycles at night. Parks with white families and their kids for the first time in 50 years.
Now this is just downtown and midtown Detroit mind you but it’s spreading to corktown and Ford is making the old formerly abandoned Michigan Central Station into their headquarters. The owners spent years cleaning it and installing new windows. Detroit’s city limits are the size of the Gaza Strip nd outer Detroit, the bigger residential part, is as bad as ever but nobody cares. We are kicking the niggers out of our city and probably rezoning it so they won’t be Detroit anymore. Outside of there metro Detroit is a great place of live and full of white people. There are pajeets and Asians in some spots. Basically Detroit is a bad example for you to use now. It would have been fine in 2006 but things have changed dramatically here

Illitch moved his headquarters to the restored Fox theater and the casinos helped but Gilbert moved Quicken Loans there and subsidized employees to live there. They’ve been buying up property and restoring it. They’re building a fancy office and shopping complex on the old Hudson building site right now.
