does not compute
want to go get some coffee?

a) two main types - usual psychological anxieties and personality-level symbolism, and then a more abstract level; for lack of a better phrase, seeming to issue from deeper parts of the soul cf. 'dreams from the gates of horn' / 'dreams from the gates of ivory'

b) sound exists in the same way that images sort of do - your mind translates a signal into familiar 3d phenomena like physical environments, sensations, sounds. you 'know' you've seen something in a different way to how you do in waking life, and similarly you 'know' what you've heard, though sometimes it can be just as vivid as waking life

c) 'man's name is legion' - everyone has an inner voice. i don't really buy the idea that npc's don't have one, they're just so untrained in introspection and their awareness is so surface-level scattered they can't pay attention to the multitude of voices that lie within everyone

{pi}
DE CLAVICULA SOMNIORUM.
And now concerning Meditation let me disclose unto thee more fully the Mystery of the Key of Dreams and Phantasies.

Learn first that as the Thought of the Mind standeth before the Soul and hindereth its Manifestation in consciousness, so also the gross physical Will is the Creator of the Dreams of common Men, and as in Meditation thou doest destroy every Thought by mating it with its Opposite, so must thou cleanse thyself by a full and perfect Satisfaction of that bodily will in the Way of Chastity and Holiness which has been revealed unto thee in thy Initiation.

This inner Silence of the Body being attained, it may be that the true Will may speak in True Dreams; for it is written that He giveth unto His Beloved in Sleep.

Prepare thyself therefore in this Way, as a good Knight should do.

{koppa}
DE SOMNO LUCIDO.
Now know this also that at the End of that secret Way lieth a Garden wherein is a Rest House prepared for thee.

For to him whose physical Needs of whatever Kind are not truly satisfied cometh a Lunar or physical Sleep appointed to refresh and recreate by Cleansing and Repose; but on him that is bodily pure the Lord bestoweth a Solar or Lucid Sleep, wherein move Images of pure Light fashioned by the True Will. And this is called by the Qabalists the Sleep of Shiloam, and of this doeth also Porphyry make mention mention, and Cicero, with many other Wise Men of Old Time.

Compare, o my Son, with this Doctrine that which was taught thee in the Sanctuary of the Gnosis concerning the Death of the Righteous; and learn moreover that these are but particular Cases of an Universal Formula.

Just curious, mostly about how non inner voice people perceive reality and if inner voice people have differences or are in the inner voice regard mostly the same

If that would be true, they'd atleast admit to having one, but surveys show that many don't and even find it weird. The other things sound ok, but weird

tfw I can lucid dream so effectively now that I get sloppy realistic blowjobs from Japanese dream sluts every single night.
Stop waiting for VR, you can have something even better now

An uncharged phone is useless and so is an emty balls fella. Props for not watching porn though

This is a good point, I feel like I should be using my lucid dreams to develop myself rather than just letting my id play freely for awhile

>The dream started with a full eclipse or a hole in the sun (I’m not sure)
From the black hole/eclipse a black and white spiral emerged (it was spiralling and pulsating at the same time) then after that the sky ripped like fabric and behind the sky there was the same black and white swirl pulsating and spiralling pattern (in the dream it felt nauseating to look at)

Also very rarely I get dreams in which I’m falling

TV SAY ORANGE MAN BAD!

I had another where I was in black water and I was trying to get out, I was gripping the sand (the sand looked like gold) and everything around was jet black

Kek
Real talk now!!

Sound, voices, there can be inner voice also. My dreams often have crystallised plot lines that can be complex. They are usually odd and people have commented that they are extra bizarre.

The other day I dreamt I was on a bus and a seated old woman stopped me as I was about to get off. She said
'We are the Falmer.'
Then it became depersonalised and I saw a series of elf statues in a garden, all different ages and shapes and sizes.
I Googled Falmer when I woke up as it sounded familiar. The little twisted blind goblins from Skyrim, that degenerated from the once noble snow elves.
I dont play video games at all and haven't for years, I don't know why some specific lore from the fucking notepapers you pick up in Skyrim was in my mind from 2011 when only briefly played it.

But the meaning is clear, we have decayed as a civilisation, and are shadows of our former selves. Like the elves who became Falmer we are poisoned blinded husks.

>a) Describe your dreams in detail
I see different places, often from my childhood, like my school and the house where I lived. Other times it's roads and various incomprehensible mess. I often try to run or fight, but it's all in slow motion. There is color.
>b) Do you have sound/ voices in your dreams?
Yes, but they are more like in a form of thoughts. People speak, I hear it in my head.
>c) Do you have an inner voice?
I guess. I sometimes argue with that voice, though it's clearly me.

a) Really various, but generally resolve around people I know and often interact with/think of, and scenes resembling my interests. I quite often have lucid dreams.

b) Yes, definitely. For example I was talking with other people which political party we're voting for in a recent dream, and I remember the sound of the party.

c) Yes, I use it all the time

For dreams they are rare for me, but when i do i can barely describe but remember, voices and sound is rare as pure gold, most of the time it's pure black or i feel paralyzed. Any tips on how to dream more often?
Other than that, thanks for tricking me into submitting into your datamine CIA nigger.

This.
Also same on question C.

Maybe an extra question:
Are you aware that you are dreaming or only realising it afterwards?

Dreams consist of random events and people from my life. Last night, I had a dream that I hooked up with this girl I messed around with my freshman year of high school, and then her boyfriend sent human traffickers to kidnap my sister. Extremely vivid dream too.

b) Yes.

c) Yes. I use it pretty much all the time. I'm constantly thinking about all sorts of things to the point where I feel it is a burden, I kinda wish I just had silence sometimes.

I can answer the "how do you think and process new information" question because I've talked to some of these "NPCs." I work with a bunch of uneducated spics and they do not have an inner voice in their head. They don't get songs stuck in their head and they don't repeat things out loud to remember them. All they do is look at the ticket board, register that they need to make this or that, and then make it. They are terrible at prioritizing and consolidating tasks. They could be so much faster if they looked at the ticket board and said, "Okay, this item takes 7 minutes to cook, so if I drop this, I can make this 3 minute entree and have it ready near the same time." But instead, they just read top-to-bottom with no organization or efficiency in mind. It's bizarre.

Usually unaware. As soon as I realize I'm dreaming, I wake up.

I have occasionally become aware, rarely happens though.
I tried getting into lucid dreaming with some results, but started a new job and had to sleep normally from there.

I know the paralyzed feel, do you lucid dream when you have that feel? I do

a) I had a distressing dream the other night in which my gf and I were trekking through the nuked-out wasteland of USA 20XX, and she slipped into an abandoned swimming pool with an alligator in it. Before she could pull herself out, the alligator bit her on the ankle and nearly tore her leg off. I threw my backpack into the ground and jumped into the swimming pool with a knife, and stabbed the alligator right on top of its head. It veered away from me, stunned for a brief moment, and then charged me. I literally stabbed the fucker to death while it ripped its teeth into my arm. After shrugging off its corpse, I looked frantically under the surface of the swampy water to see if my girlfriend had been dragged under, but found her lying curled on her side next to the pool, facing away from me. I noticed that her leg below the knee was only hanging on by bone and sinew, and she was convulsing in agony, silently.

Then I woke up.

b) Yes.

c) Only when I read or write. I mostly think in pictures. Most of my informational processing is visual, and because of this, I've developed a rather sophisticated method of hypothesizing/organizing abstractions using visual symbols. I do, however, sometimes debate with myself using a mental "dummy" which I use as a conduit for my inner voice.

The future or past events being changed, personal symbolism

Yes
>c
Yes, mostly for inner monologue

Oh, you want me to describe a dream? I'll describe a fucking dream, nigger. Check this shit out.

I had this dream, that me and three guys I played D&D with, Nick, Paul, and Jim, were all secret agents working for the US government. And Harland Sanders was a supervillain, the leader of a mercenary army who had earned the nickname "Colonel" in Africa's bloody civil wars before turning fried chicken magnate. The government sent us to infiltrate the KFC headquarters/chicken refinery to retrieve the original recipe, before the Colonel used the 11 Herbs and Spices for evil.

So we go to the chicken plant and slip in through a vent. We're all wearing black combat fatigues, except my buddy Nick, who's got on the goddamned Sneaking Suit from Metal Gear Solid. As we crawl through the ducts, we look out of vents and see the works. In one room, they're dropping eggs in vats of green goo and electrifying them. In another, Drawven 'chickensmiths' are hammering chicken patties out of chicken carcasses on anvils at a forge. Finally we exit the ducts, come down in a hallway, turn the corner, and immediately run into the Colonel's army of nigger mercenaries, who he paid in fried chicken.

They captures us and put us in this big cage, dip the whole thing in batter, and put us on a conveyor belt heading towards a massive vat of boiling oil. Colonel Sanders is standing on a catwalk above us, taunting us.

> a) Describe your dreams in detail
I tend to forget my dreams after a while, so I will describe only the last one I remember(had it about a month ago):
I was in an university and all the people around me were shadows. I was basically alone, never talking with anyone, until one day, a non-shadow girl appeared and started talking to me. We become friends. As time passes I fall in love with her. After a while(in the dream it was as if months passed) she disappears. I start running and searching desperately for her, while I run I realize that I forgot her name and her face. I started crying, then I woke up.
> b) Do you have sound/ voices in your dreams?
Not really. I communicate with people but I don't remember any voice or sound.
> c) Do you have an inner voice?
Sometimes, but most of the times no.
> If yes, when do you use it?
I simulate conversations with other people in my head. When I write I spell the words in my head as I write them.
> If not, how do you think and process new information?
My thoughts consist of a mix of pictures, scenes, connections betwen them and some strange format that I can't explain in words. My most complex thoughts are often very difficult for me to translate in words so I end up keeping them for me. Honestly don't know how you guys manage to have inner monologues all the time, when I think about something it appears in my head instantly and expands and connects with other related thoughts, having to narrate everything seems too slow and tiresome to me.

On the topic of NPCs.

I had a job where I put boxes of tools on pallets, which get picked up for delivery.
Most UK deliveries are 1st priority, and are delivered next day. Most overseas deliveries are 2nd priority, as they are going on ships and things.
When I started I would ask where a box goes, and the two guys who had been there for years would point to a nearby stack, or a distant stack, and say 'over there'.
In my second week, after preparing HUNDREDS of boxes of tools, a third guy who had been there like 6 weeks tells me that somewhere on the printed box corner there's a P1 or a P2 and that lets you know where to stack it. He saw me put a couple in the wrong place and had the initiative to teach me, but the two guys I harassed all day long for two weeks about this one detail never thought to just point at the box corner and save me and themselves all that fucking time. Dealing with NPCs feels like being in another dimension.

Attached: 1540932659719.jpg (640x480, 64K)

I have lucid dreams more often than not, they usually are in colour and I have some sort of control over them
If I fall asleep with the tv, radio, or my pc on my dreams will be influenced by them to some extent
If I drink any amount at all I have absolutely no dreams and simply go to unconciousness and back, no hangover, no nothing, just simply don't dream

Also, for an "inner voice" I don't have an actual voice that speaks to me, but I definitely have a conscience that I use to gauge cost-to-benefit when making "descisions" about the morality of specific actions

A recent one I remember quite clearly:
My dog was tied to a larger one by their collars. They were playing near the water in a dystopian coastal town. I went down to grab them, they took off around the bend to another shallow area that looked like a boat ramp but had no ramp.
The water didn’t appear like water but a thick fog, I saw the smaller dog get excited and drag the larger dog right into the “water” and they both disappeared beneath it. As I ran down to try and rescue them a few women appeared out of the water and starting humming and chanting. I tried to turn back and run but as they got closer I felt more and more unable to move, and my mind said “it can’t be that bad” to “yes I will go with them”. They pulled me back with them as I slipped beneath the “water”. Then I woke up. Succubi.
What’s it mean my friends?

A. Unicorn running through the woods
B. Silent
C. Mostly for exposition

I noticed the time thing too. If the multipledimension theory is true and we apply it there, it means at birth your whole live is already lived out in another dimension

Sands is talking about, "Looks like you boys are headed for a closed-bucket funeral! With two sides and a biscuit! Ha ha!"

And Nick's like "Oh, we get two sides? How about macaroni and mashed potatoes and gravy? That good with everybody?"

"I'd rather have potato wedges than mashed potatoes," I said. "I like the way they season them."

Jim goes "As long as we got some honey with those biscuits, I'm happy."

"Does that come with a soda?" Paul asks.

Colonel Sanders was taken aback. "Now see here, boys," he says, "those biscuits were metaphorical, ya see..."

I cut him off, though, I'm like "Hey, no, fuck you. The biscuits are only metaphorical if they represent something, like your condolences to our families or your respect for us as worthy opponents. Those biscuits don't represent shit. That wasn't a metaphor, that was just a joke.

"Whatever," Nick says. "Church's Chicken has better biscuits anyway."

"But Popeyes has the best chicken," Jim says.

"You just say that because you still haven't tried Chic-Fil-A," I tell him.

"Does this mean I don't get a soda?" Paul asks.

Inner voice isn't the same speed as talking speed, atleast not for me

>a) Describe your dreams in detail

Either erotic or adventurous. I may be fighting against a horde of pitbulls with my friends or participating into a huge medieval battle.

>b) Do you have sound/ voices in your dreams?

>c) Do you have an inner voice?

Yes.

>If yes, when do you use it?

Rarely, because it's so slow. My main mode of thinking is abstract intuitive. I also think in raw logic, sounds, pictures and sensations.

Is it like a pitched up hamster voice

>Honestly don't know how you guys manage to have inner monologues all the time, when I think about something it appears in my head instantly and expands and connects with other related thoughts, having to narrate everything seems too slow and tiresome to me.

Those people tend to be INTPs and ISTPs, whereas your kind of people tend to be INTJs and ENTPs. Dominant thinking is a very structured form of thought. Dominant intuition expands and connects thoughts with other thoughts.

Reformed NPC here. I didn’t think with words until I was 19 or so. Went through life thinking mostly in abstract ideas, images, and graphs before then.

a) I had much better memory of my dreams when I was an NPC. Most of my dreams were recurrent or episodic (I’d continue one dream the next day). Often they involved fantasy scenarios, like fighting dragons or discovering another planet. If I wasn’t a hero, I was on the run from something more powerful and terrifying. Since developing an inner voice my dreams are more random, no relation to one another, and I forget more details. They’re also more grounded. The few I can remember are usually just me going about my day.

b) I used to have sound in my dreams, but no voices. If I communicated with someone it was always via shared understanding. Like they magically knew what I needed to convey. Now, post-NPC, voices in my dreams are normal.

c) I used to possess the ability to generate voices in my head, but used it exclusively when thinking about speech. Like if I were recollecting what someone said, or if I were planning the dialogue for a character in a story. The same way you can picture a flower in your head, I could “picture” the sounds of people talking - but I didn’t use this for any problem solving or introspection.

Do you like your dream?

>a) Describe your dreams in detail
I can create and control the environment of almost all my dreams. Through the years i have perfected it. Last night i explored this 1800s coastal city, the buildings were rich and built in art noveau style and all the roads were paved. You can compare it to a mix between Paris and Venice. It is like an alternate reality where the industrial revolution just didn't happen and where the monarchies still exist, a world where the world wars did not happen.

>b) Do you have sound/ voices in your dreams?
Yes all the time, i talk to a lot of people and even think to figure out what i should do.

>c) Do you have an inner voice?
All the time.

This has just pissed Colonel Sanders right off, and he explodes. He screams "Fuck you! You go to hell! You go to hell and you die!" and then leaves, just trusting his deathtrap is going to kill us, like any good supervillain. Now the conveyor belt is like a quarter mile long, and it's only moving like a mile per hour, so I light a cigarette while we wait.

Paul decides to say his last words. He goes "Jim, user, I always knew, someday, somehow, you two were going to get me killed. But you!" he says, turning to Nick, "You were supposed to make sure we didn't get killed like this! You're supposed to be the smart one. The sane one. The one who's not high-"

"Relax, dumbass, none of us are going to die. This cage is made of chicken wire," Jim says, tearing a side of the cage off.

"And it's stapled to a pine frame," Nick observes. "This wouldn't even hold a big dog. What the hell?"

So they jump off the conveyor belt, but I wanna finish my cigarette. I tell 'em to move on and I'll catch up, but they make me put it out and come with them. Assholes.

So we head towards Sanders's office, but on the way there is the locker room where all the African nigger mercenaries are hanging out. Jim says "You guys go after the Colonel, I'll hold off homie-gangsta-dawg!" and charges them.

I say "All right, then," as we walk on by.

Nick tells him "You have fun with that."

We can hear him getting his ass beat as we walk away. "Don't worry about me!" he yells. "I can take 'em!"

"I believe you," I answer.

Nick goes "Aim for the nuts and eyes."

So we get into Sanders's office and see all his files shuffled, a ladder leading to an open trapdoor on the roof. We climb up and see him getting into a prop plane, shaped like a giant chicken.

>regurgitating old memes
>not an npc

Have a brapper for your troubles. This dream has been perplexing me

Attached: image.jpg (819x935, 487K)

First time seeing this

Indeed I get INTJ as result everytime I try one of those tests.

"You boys may have defeated me this time," the Colonel yells. "But I have not yet begun to fight!"

"Wait. How did we defeat you this time? We got captured immediately, we failed our mission objective, and I'm pretty sure Jim's getting killed. This was an unmitigated failure by...any metric."

But Sanders isn't listening. He gets in the plane, taxis off the roof, drops like a stone and crashes. We see a massive fireball as it explodes beneath us.

We walk over and look down at the flaming wreckage, and I light another cigarette. Paul goes "Well, I guess shaping a plane after a flightless bird wasn't a great idea."

"Yeah. That motherfucker was crazy," I say.

"So? You're crazy, too," Nick says.

"True. But he was crazy, and retarded. Speaking of which, are we gonna rescue Jim?"

"Naw, man. Jim's problems is Jim's problems. You see that fire escape there? We're just gonna take that to the ground and go home."

As we walk away, Paul asks, "Are we gonna get XP for this?"

Nick thinks for a second and goes "No. No, this was a complete waste of everyone's time."

And the credits rolled. I mean I actually dreamed of credits rolling, superimposed over scenes of what the three of us did after the mission. Me on a yacht, with two bikini models. Nick, winning big in Monte Carlo. Paul racing a classic Shelby. And then the 'screen' faded to black.

Attached: index.jpg (193x261, 19K)

Any of you guys have these dreams of endlessly running/ driving or whatever else?

Frenetic, seldom remembered, highly mutable and ever-changing pastiche of recent and new memories, fluctuating wildly between vivid sexual violence, nostalgia, bodily mutation, being devoured by sundry animals.

Sometimes a character from some tv programme from the 90's shows up, but it's never one I like.

It's always East Enders bit characters and Power Rangers, gets me reet fucked orf.

i got a inner voice and dreams but when i got deppresed it was all gone we are all matter and that matter is your brain , the npc meme is just that... a meme

Then the scene opens again. The shots of the exterior of the chicken refinery. Suddenly a nigger mecenary's body is thrown through the wall. Jim appears in the breach, hulked out. It turns out he *did* get XP for this, and took several levels in the Frenzied Berserker prestige class. A song starts playing, a mashup of Fear Factory's "Smasher Devourer" and Rob Zombie's "Dragula", that doesn't exist IRL.

>Fear me not but fear my will!
>Dead I am the one, exterminating son!
>God made me so I could kill!
>Slipping through the trees, strangling the breeze!
>Praise me in the name of war!
>Dead I am the sky, watching angels cry!
>I destroy both rich and poor!
>As they slowly turn, conquering the worm!
>I am the way! Prepare for-
>DRAGULA!

And he jumps out and sprints down the highway.

Found the NPC

Most of the time afterwards, but from time to time I do become aware of dreaming in the dream and go lucid.

Another question could be, "Do you expirience Deja Vu? If you do how frequently?"

wrong i am a lucid dreamer and have many inner voices but when your brain stops functioning properly its all gone , because we are matter first and soul second . There is literally no way to tell who is npc or not because of that

a) Had a weird one last night. Was walking across a large wooden bridge out of a town I'd never been to, looking at the other side of the bridge where there was a dilapidated 19th century mock-medieval tower with audio antennas on top. Then saw people arrive in cars, which they parked in tall grass down a slope. I figured that none of it made a bit of sense, since these were old yet well-maintained cars being driven into a bunch of shrubs, and woke up. Had some seemingly dreamless sleep after that, but it was hardly worth mentioning.

b) Yes.

c) Yes. It's a constant monologue/dialogue that goes on. It helps me make sense of the world around me and formulate thoughts.

Memes are meant to spread. as long as it's in the confines of the chan and nowhere else.

By the way, I thought c) was asking if we have inner voice in our dreams.
If you mean normal waking life then all the time, in dreams its not 100% of the time but does occur.

Once my inner voice was saying 'how can the mind create the dream scenes, view the dream from my eyes perspective, and then have a separate inner voice commenting on what happens? That's like 3 separate layers of focus, what the hell.'
Also a friend of mine in the dream was talking nonsense really fast as I was thinking this.
I was like 'how can I make a figure talk as I speak to myself in my mind, within a dream? But not have awareness of where his words come from?'
And the weight of it all woke me up. It was like I dreamt the most complicated thing I could so I could show my waking self what the brain is capable of.

I've had other dreams like that, where it just seemed to be a technique display of CPU power.

You seem like the guy to ask so how do i dream more often and how do i lucid dream?

I don't have dreams often, at least ones I can recall. They mostly come when I am stressed and they play on my anxiety by including people and places I know. People are always unceremoniously rude and cruel and I feel like I need to leave but I am not allowed to.

I had a dream not long ago where I was in a high school class and I was supposed to write a poem. I didn't know how to begin or what to write and when I finally started, the others around me started aggressively trying to read what I'd written. I was very embarrassed because it was incomplete. They got more aggressive and stole all of my things and read through all of my files.

Over the years I've had periods where I have a lot of vivid dreams. A certain amount of them were recurring events and places, especially made-up locations that are only vaguely similar to places I've been. They used to be very whimsical, not necessarily positive or negative, and I have very little control of events except that physics does not usually hold and falls apart under scrutiny. I have fond memories of dragging myself along the ground by tugging on grass as though I weighed nothing, or gliding through their air on a chair.

As I got older, almost everything was replaced with reliving my childhood home and schools. Basically all dreams are very negative now. All of my senses are used in dreams, voices included although not everyone speaks. I think using an inner voice when totally alone, typically while cooking or in the shower. I will dictate about something or simulate what I would say to someone. It is not very organized, but it does help me review and refine things that I have not given a lot of thought to.

Wrong, we are soul first and matter second (Even though soul is matter)
Destroying a radio doesn't eliminate the signal

I was on a date with Deborah Ann Woll and someone was trying to frame me for murder, so they hid an industrial scrap grinder under my rug and she fell in and was graphically torn to shreds. Then I went to McDonald's and they served me a mop bucket full of fries and chicken nuggers.

One thing that helps in getting regular dreams is to get regular sleep. I've found that if I go to bed before midnight, I can sleep well for hours on end, but if I go to bed after midnight it's too late and I toss and turn for hours.

Stop using your computer/smartphone/TV an hour before you go to bed, too. That makes it easier for your body to enter "sleep mode". Paradoxically, you need to be a bit of an NPC to not be an NPC.

I have the same dream every single night for a few years now and it's really starting to wear on my mental health. In the dream I'm sitting alone in an empty room on a chair. A man wearing a suit with a blurry face kick in the door. He has long slender almost claw like fingers wrapped around a straight razor in the same way Voldemort holds a wand. He rushes towards me and starts slashing wildly, I put my hands up to defend myself. Eventually I become overwhelmed, I freak out and start fighting back eventually wrestling the razor away. I cut his throat but he doesn't die, I stab him over and over and over and he doesn't die, just stands there and stares at me while I stare at my shredded hands until I wake up. The pain in my hands feels very real, I have this same dream every night but never realize I'm in it until I wake up. I can remember the pain vividly when I wake up. Any /x/ anons have any theories on what it all could mean?

Attached: IMG_3160.jpg (640x336, 38K)

oke then drive a nail through your hand you wont feel a thing because you are soul first

all sorts of weird dreams the most abstract shit

sometimes i have i have a voice sometimes more including the others i dream about which can be people or complete strangers i never seen

i use my voice most of the time thinking rationally about shit

Sometimes I get very practical warnings in my dreams. The other night I had a dream where my mouth hurt and I put my hand to my mouth and fragments of my teeth appeared. My dental hygene has been poor as I am traveling now. So I understand what spawned the dream, and now will take care of my teeth better.

don't smoke weed or drink before sleeping.
be thinking about something as you fall asleep (this is a jumping of point, doesn't matter what you think about, as long as it doesn't keep you awake.)
Eat Cheese before sleeping for nightmare/badtrip dreams.
MOST IMPORTANT. make effort as soon as you wake to construct the dream into a memory.

hahaha my namefag

Just finished dean radins book on proof of parapsycology and there were some experiments they did where they would have people experience provocative art while someone was sleeping in the room next to them and they recorded that it affected the content of the dreams. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganzfeld_experiment

Your soul exists all the time and switches from vessel to vessel. The soul can feel emotional pain and only living beings with central nerve system feel physical pain.

A: my dreams have insanely detailed environments, I interact with other people as if they're real with their own character, they all vary. The scenarios in my dreams vary, im either in highschool again or im in some movie plot-esque action filled dream

B: yes, sometimes i start hearing things either right before im about to fall asleep or right when i wake up. maybe its sleep paralysis but i definitely do have vivid as fuck dreams with sounds

C: I have an inner voice and i always end up getting lost in my own head often using it, I can't exactly hear it but i can "feel" it if that makes any sense

You can decode these.

If you Google dream meanings, with dog, water, or whatever else, there are tons of new agey sites that give you a range of decent general meanings for them.
You have to connect it together for your specific dream and compare it to your life to see the lesson it gives you.

I used to have a dictionary book of dream object meanings that was great, but its all online anyway now.
Did you know that Jewish rabbis and Muslim imams are often trained to interpret dreams?

I literally had this too in another form:
My teeth we're falling out

First thing I did when waking up was brushing my teeth

Read Sigmund Freuds “The dream interpretation“

a) i used to dream journal to the point where i could recall and write multiple pages of details, simply lost interest
b) yes & yes
c) i often think in concepts and imagery and sounds, but also have an inner voice if i'm debating in my head or talking or writing.

my inner voice is NEVER like "i'm folding socks now. i'd better plan this project i have to complete. this cereal & milk has a normal kellogg's texture and taste as I'm eating it. that awful orange man said a thing on twitter."
If your inner voice is 75iq I want to hear what your life is like

>Read Sigmund Freuds “The dream interpretation“

yeah no thanks. I am fairly certain i don't want to fuck my mother.

Nope

That's just your German impulse for efficiency trying to make steady progress even as you relax

How do you make lucid dream?

isn't that basically what monks do?

How? Don't you dare say "Dream journal".

Oke then for science you get a lobotomy and then tell us you still have a inner voice , it will be all gone because we are matter first

Kek
For real though, never?

What do you mean with “We are matter first“? A living being needs a soul to live and technically the soul is matter too. (What happens to your atoms when you die?)

you realize that you are dreaming and then you can control the dream, the art lies in the not waking up part . its usualy after the rem sleep

Find the ones who think in pictures very clearly and vividly
Trust me
The thing you're looking for is in the ones who think in both sound and pictures clearly

Teeth have a range of meanings as a dream item, teeth falling out is a common scene.
It could be the obvious one for travelling user, and totally different for the 2nd user.
Googling dream item meanings is always worthwhile.

i dont know can a monk completely redirect pain ? i think no man can avoid pain

Nah bro, I only dream really wierd sht

Depends on the level of training of the monk.

a) very detailed. Sometimes they take place in familiar places with familiar people. Other times they take place in obscure other worlds ive never once seen with people ive never met.

b) sound, color, taste, smell, thouch, everything.

c) yes, all the time.

I'm a high IQ autist and my dreams sometimes include complex problem solving and planning complex explanations about things right on my waking level. Other times, they just include extremely dissatisfying situations in which I am completely out of control and I have to watch myself make horrific decisions while my brain screams STOP, STOP, STOP. I don't mean "horrific" like murder or anything, just about taking my ex back and kissing her after I know she fucked a whole bunch of dudes and whatnot. There's also the "underwater punching" one that happens from time to time and then the "inconsolable anger" one where I'm indiscriminately breaking things no matter how much harm comes my way. I recall a very specific one where I got so mad that I started headbutting dents into the wall in my house foot by foot, also taking out windows, shards in my eyes, but still continuing.

Pretty sure there's sound in my dreams or at least I'm having things communicated to me in an auditory fashion even if it's like I'm reading text from a script. Not really sure now that I'm thinking about it. Inner voice is louder than external ones but not to a medically dangerous degree. I get distracted with my own thoughts constantly to a point where I'd say I'm a bad listener simply because I can't focus on someone else's words for too long before I tune them out. My dad does this to a much higher degree so maybe it's genetic. Never wanted to learn that behavior but it happens no matter how hard I try to listen to someone unless they are saying something incredibly interesting.

I swear to god I'm not dangerous, FBI or whoever. I'm a gud boi.

a) Describe your dreams in detail
They usually take places that I have been to recently. Sometimes they're in fictional places, but usually not.

b) Do you have sound/ voices in your dreams?
Yes

c) Do you have an inner voice?
Yes
If yes, when do you use it?
I use it to think out how I'm going to do something, I sometimes argue politics, entertainment, theology, and history with myself and other times I tell stories to myself.

Crazy that you posted this today. I had a bad nightmare for the first time in months. I was on an airplane that was taking off. For some reason I could see through the front windshield like it was a bus instead of an airplane.

The plane wasn't gaining enough altitude and hit some power lines. I heard the wing rip off and said in a calm matter of fact voice "this is how we die".

Then I woke up. Freaked me the fuck out. I can normally analyse my dreams, but I can't figure out what this one is about.

a) Last night I dreamed the world was growing larger by absorbing other earths, which was causing disastrous effects. I was part of a low-level superhero team, and had to corral a bunch of regular human inmates to keep them from escaping a detention facility and causing even more havoc. I did this by bashing a few heads against walls and promising to hunt down anyone who ran off, before going off to fix a water crisis. In the midst of trying to get the town's water supply sorted out, and trying to maintain my private identity, I came across a team of villains who wanted to recruit me. I teamed up with their most recent recruit, combined our powers, and lost them in the labyrinthine system of tunnels the merging worlds created.
This sort of cinematic experience is pretty common for my dreams, and I don't watch many movies or any TV.

b) Yes. Dream-me is a better musical composer and poet, too, which kind of pisses me off.

c) Yes, when reading, reflecting, writing, editing.

>this kills the user

A) i let someone drive my truck and he crashed it. thats the only recent one i can remember

B) yes

C)yes; mostly critical thinking or emotionally stressful situations, along with every second of every day
