As a tanker, we don't get sent to Afghanistan or Iraq because we're basically done there, so no combat for me.
Overseas duty stations include a few in Korea and a few in Europe. Korea is realistically the only way to see combat as a tanker right now.

I served in Space Forces in Titov Space Control Centre.
It a military installation, but in fact it mostly control dual purpose or civilian satellites. For example, ISS orbit corrections is controlled for there.

No. You can only volunteer if your a critical MOS they need downrange (which are few), the deployed unit is willing to go through the bullshit to have you and your unit is willing to release you. The latter is the hard part, nobodies CO is going to sign the 4187 to basically lose a guy that's still going to be still hogging a spot on their MTOE for 9 months.

If you’re really interested in psyop, the theories are essentially the same as advertising and marketing: Exploit people’s emotions to get a desired response (ie buy something). I can’t speak for other government agencies, but in the army it’s not very glamorous. It’s hard to escape the red tape of the military
