I'd suggest somewhere rural where farming can be done on a smaller scale. What you have to realize is that you have to be able to buy daily products as well as pay taxes. Hard to do with your own currency.
Your best bet would be to just trade with whatever FIAT there is in the cuntry you settle in. Just buy as much as you can from your fellow neighbours and that way let as much money as possible stay in the community to later be taxed for further development of said community.

Land is a lot cheaper and better investment over time than houses, but that means we'd probably have to be open to being ruralfags. I'd be fine with that, but not sure all of us would.
We'd also need to get money together so we can get electricity and ect put in. We could build our own wells potentially for water, but being self sufficient with electricity is pretty hard.
Finding blocks of housing available can be tricky, but it is possible.
