It's probably something to do with the death of Google plus. They integrated google plus into youtube at every possible junction, even giving incentive's to youtube programmers and project managers if they could find extra ways to connect the two. Youtube was how they were gonna make G+ an active website, but it failed and they didn't plan for its failure. So while they're deactivating G+ its periodically fucking youtube.
This is what caused the last outage too.
