Was Jesus sent to die to wash away the sins of humanity or was he betrayed? Was he offered by the priests because only holy men can sacrifice the lamb properly? Or were they just assholes that feared losing their power?
Could Jesus have never accomplished anything had he not been killed? Was that the linchpin of his first coming?
Jesus didn't exist as a historical person. He's just the latest world-saver meme.
Aiden Jackson
Regardless. I'm asking about what the narrative truly suggests. Didn't ask about the validity.
Anthony Williams
Supposedly Jesus is God and therefore can do anything, right? So he didn't need to be killed, right? He could just have done what he did anyway, right? Also he could have told us how to make antibiotics, I mean God should know how to make that. Could have helped once the black death came in the 1300s
Jacob Price
The Jesus narrative teaches altruism. He was willing to suffer and die for others.
Elijah Hall
>I'm asking about what the narrative truly suggests. It's the same narrative as the Eden story. Ideology is bad. In Eden ideology (knowledge of good and evil without God) led to loss of paradise. In the NT, a bunch of people angry that someone threatened their ideology, killed God.
Ryan Perry
I don't care about the life lessons. I am curious about the mythological rules of the story
Anthony Long
He told all his homies to sell their clothes and buy a sword and then told them jk nevermind and got them all murderer lmao Peter still pissed off over that prank
Carson Perry
I guess I'm not asking the right questions.
David Young
Jesus gave His life. In fact, that is the only way He could have died. That's the irony in the Jews jeering at Him telling Him to save Himself. It wasn't Jesus, but man who was in need of salvation.
Adrian Cox
What do you mean?
Jackson Hall
He gave all his homies life too they was pissed lmao
Lucas Gomez
OK shlomo
Nicholas Myers
It's because he was fulfilling his own law.
Also I've heard the antibiotics contention before. The problem would have, where the fuck do you start?
Samuel Ramirez
The beginning of what Kyle asks is what I am wondering
You can change a law which you made up yourself. And in fact that was the whole point of Jesus. You start with mold, which was everywhere then as it is now, the procedure to not make it lethal to humans isn't very difficult, then you just say it's a miracle cure for certain disease.
>linchpin A choice. A choice made by "God", orchestrated by "God", to teach mankind a lesson that has yet to be truly understood; and that's IF he existed at all. Christ was killed for chasing the money-lenders out with a scourge (which is apparently a rope with smaller ropes tied to it with knots on the end, used for punishment and/or leading animals.) The biggest joke is telling people that with his death he has absolved all people for all time of what is known as "sin". This concept is still not truly understood. Apologies if this was more anecdotal than helpful. Do not follow the man, nor the deity he represents. Instead, follow the Light.
Both. He was supposed to get screwed over by ideologues to show that ideology is bad.
Joseph Watson
Look how confused and pissed off Peter was. Jesus told everybody "sell your cloak and buy a sword" and bad them ready to fight and then was like "jk bro I'm actually on a suicide mission thanks for joining me"
Put yourself in peters shoes, I'd like to hear what that guy has to say about jesus lmao
Chase Price
OK but Peter didn't die at that point. He lived on for several decades.
that's even worse so he left Peter to deal with a bunch of pissed off Jews lmao
Hudson Howard
Why he lie tho to begin with tho I'm asking u lmao
Andrew Miller
Yeah and so he went on to start Christianity together with some of the others.
Julian Green
Luke wasn't a jew, don't be nonspecific.
Lucas Bennett
So let's say I'm open minded to converting, my main question is why did he lie to all his homie to begin with?
Why should anyone believe some dude that apparently jewed his the people that trusted him The most lol
Jaxon Lee
I'm just saying he got all his homies to run around pissing off everybody then just left like BRB before you die.
Then they all die lmao and that was 2k years ago and they still waiting lol
James Mitchell
My main question is if u are trying to convert people why did he lie constantly to all his friends
Alexander Richardson
Same rules as every other world-saver myth.
Lincoln Diaz
Why would you convert to any religion? Are you clinically insane? Do you hear voices in your head? Do you believe there are incorporeal entities that affect the real world?
Jason Russell
I do find the whole black cube of Saturn at Mecca pre-dating telescopes rather odd to be honest.
Explains that shit that shit wierd
Sebastian Cox
Long story short, Jesus did it for the lulz
Jose Rivera
The Black Cubes are five ancient weapons of mass destruction created millions of years ago to serve as weapons in the wars between several of the first sentient races to inhabit the Milky Way Galaxy.
Adam Bennett
Not all Scripture is easy to digest. It appears to me that they needed swords so that the prophecy would be fulfilled, that Jesus would be numbered with the transgressors. Further, Peter's use of the sword during Jesus' arrest may be what distinguished him later to the Romans when he denied Jesus. At no point did Jesus lie. Pray earnestly to God, and He will reveal to you everything you need to know about Him. I will be praying for you user.
Owen Sanders
Jesus wasnt here for antibiotics... Swedes are so retarded. No wonder your shit country was cursed.
