Puzzle games and (traditional) roguelikes are pretty much the only timewasters I bother with anymore. Despite techology progressing, it just feels like the modern vidya has nothing to offer that I would not have experienced as something more interesting before.

Deustche Indo-China (or whatever it is called) is by far the most unique and fun country to play.

Deutsch Ostasien is good fun, but the Indochinese themselves are one of the deepest and most intense nations in the mod. They are up there with Flanders-Wallonia, Bulgaria, Ireland, Fengtian and the Ottomans in terms of depth and fun. Deutsch Ostasien has potential that I personally never thought got realized enough, with everything becoming reliant entirely on the Indochinese revolt and not much content beyond that. The idea of post-WW1 German rule in Asia is ripe for fun ideas but Ostasien is kind of empty thematically. Even Mittelafrika has more depth to it.

Victoria 2 can give hilarious results sometimes.

Quick beach landing with 180k Kaiser guard, artillery and cavalary then taking London and fortyfing. Then comes over 3 million strong British mobilized army. After dozen months both sides are down to 60k and another 180k arrives from Russian front (status quo), ends battle and white peace with UK is signed. All armies procced to Brugge to finish war with actual target - Les Baguettes.

What was more funny, anarchistic rebellion started in UK and controlled London easily. Governement reformed and all colonies became independent.

So, basically my try if I can put small part of my forces on British Islands faster than UK navy can block me resulted in death of more than 3 million British citizens, dissolution of monarchy and nobility and collapse of world spanning empire. Fun times.
