So that threads in other boards were not derailed by political discussions. Thus it was a relatively small board.

Keep in mind before 2010 most people who came to Jow Forums just went on /b/. I'd be willing to put money down, but I bet at least 75% of traffic on Jow Forums from 2006-2009 was /b/. Just one board. Then people from /b/ filtered out and joined with others and began to comprise Jow Forums.

And so Jow Forums set and festered and developed for years until 2015 when Trump began to take over. Memes created here spread out into the wider internet like /b/ of yesteryear. People began to seek the source of these and found the amazing Jow Forums threads of 2015 and 2016. Then more people came.

Then they started writing more articles about Jow Forums. Most intelligent normies probably know about Jow Forums. Most have probably checked it out once or twice for kicks. And edgy teens had a place that would accept them wholeheartedly.

These kids saw epic BTFOs, and thought that trolling the libz was the highest art form. But what made Jow Forums great was the caliber of discussion. There would be memeing and shitposting, but always in the context of the higher ideal of politics, which is that of saving the world and creating the most perfect society possible.

At some point it devolved. Those who saw our power began to fear us and attempt disruption. Others who were retarded but liked our edginess joined just to be edgy. The result is complete distortion of ideas and a fracture in the unification of Jow Forums.

At one point there was a clear unspoken heirarchy of intelligence here. The highest IQ posts had the most (yous) but those weren't even really much of a rating
