To achieve the State of Grace you need to go through the Holy Sacraments which are contained in the Bible and in the Church Tradition which come from apostolic succession since the 12 apostles. By reaching the State of Grace you are in communion with God and apt to go to Heaven. The thing is, protestants believe that you are always "graceful" therefore you can believe any shit the pastor says, kill anyone and commit grave sins, never confess and go to heaven
