If you look at footage of what the crossing looks like right now, about a third of the lanes have been blocked off using a combination of portable metal walls about 15 feet high (provided by the Mexicans), and behind that jersey barriers with concertina wire strung above them (set up by the Americans). Due to the thinness of the metal walls a sufficiently large mob could overturn them with some effort, and jersey barriers can be pushed over by about 4-5 men.

I read the article last night and was trying to work out their angle. Of course it was downplaying it, saying that the demographers never understood the meaning of what they were reporting and that it was a mistake to put the info out there like they did. They also said that there's some confusion about what qualifies as "white" and reference the one drop rule which rang my Jow Forums bell heavily.
Basically it seemed like they realized they overstepped and are trying to sweep everything back under the rug, specifically calling out the left for getting too giddy on relying on the brown vote to secure them control in the future. There's subtle red pills dropped in there, surprisingly harder on the left than the right.
